After our walk in central park we decided to grab coffee in Ralph Lauren to see what the hype was about. We got 2 cappuccinos we loved it! We liked that they were not so strong in coffee like other we have had. The chocolate croissant was also good.
We decided to drink the coffee inside. The guy at the front door was very sweet he asked if we wanted to go or to stay. But our waitress was the rudest. First time he says to us is “What do you want” in such a rude way. Then we place our order the guy says that we need to order everything now because he would close his tap. While my boyfriend was paying the bill before getting our coffee server the guy waits and stands in front of my face putting his private part right in front of me I looked away and I felt so uncomfortable.

A frou-frou coffee house. Pastries were adequate, coffee was adequate, service was a wait, small tables outside to watch people stroll by, and inside to be waited on by a server.

What a fun team serving up some delicious coffees & pastries at this location. Although their was a line forming from the entrance, a wonderful young man came out to check on those wanting a table...THAT WAS US! So we went right in a sat down. Service was quick & friendly. My specialty latte was creamy & full of flavor. The Lemon Cake was moist & my Chocolate Croissant was flakey & rich!
Great place to sit, sip & people watch! 😎

Be aware of how they charge you. Sadly I was charged as table service (that’s more expensive) for Matcha Latte that I ordered at the counter obviously to go. I just realized the wrong charge too late to come back and complain. Not a nice advertisement for such famous establishment.

Overall a good experience.
The staff is welcoming and cheerful. They're helpful too. We wanted to sit inside but weren't sure about the line, and they asked if we wanted to sit and helped us find a table quickly.
The coffee is okay. Not to my flavor, but I enjoyed it nevertheless.
The staff on the shopping side is also welcoming. Overall the theme of the store is nice too. Idk if I'd repeat it, but it's an enjoyable experience to try.

Ralph’s Coffee is a stylish and serene escape in the Upper East Side, tucked inside the Ralph Lauren store. From the moment you walk in, you’re immersed in a world of classic Americana—green-and-white striped branding, vintage espresso machines, and marble countertops that feel more like a film set than a café.
The coffee itself is smooth, balanced, and consistently well-made. I ordered a flat white with their signature Ralph’s Roast, and it was rich without being overpowering—perfectly crafted for everyday coffee lovers. This isn’t a third-wave coffee lab with single-origin pour-overs, but rather a polished, reliable spot for a quality cup in a beautiful setting.
The pastries are a pleasant surprise too. I tried the oversized chocolate chip cookie and a slice of banana bread—both fresh, flavorful, and ideal companions to the coffee. The menu is small but curated, with seasonal specials like maple lattes or peppermint mochas adding a fun twist.
Yes, it’s a bit pricier than your average café, but you’re paying for the full Ralph Lauren experience. The ambiance is calm and photogenic, making it a great place to relax between shopping or sightseeing. Seating can be limited during peak hours, so mornings are your best bet for a quiet visit.
Whether you're a local looking for a chic coffee break or a visitor wanting a taste of NYC elegance, Ralph’s Coffee delivers charm, quality, and a little slice of luxury with every sip.

Very thoughtful service - kind employees and concierge as always. I got a scone this time, assumed it had to be warmed but it was perfectly fine room temp! Chai latte was great!! Get the tonic cold brew - it's special to Ralph's

I think this place is just for tourists and influencers. I had a latte which was not good.
Ralph’s Coffee definitely has a beautiful atmosphere — the luxurious Ralph Lauren aesthetic is well-executed and inviting. However, my experience was disappointing overall.
The tables were packed too closely, and a staff member kept chatting with the guests at the next table, making it uncomfortably loud. I had to ask three times for the check, and it finally came after 30 minutes — with surprisingly unfriendly service.
I also ordered the almond croissant, which was quite underwhelming. It lacked the crisp texture and buttery aroma you’d expect; instead, it felt doughy and was even difficult to cut.
Unfortunately, I don’t see myself returning. There are many better cafés in NYC that offer both better service and food at the same price point.
Overall the service people are excellent. The food is basic nothing special. Had coffee and some baked goods and the yogurt.
However check your goods before you purchase.
I bought three caps as gifts and turns out the white one had makeup stain on the inside. Pretty sad considering how expensive they are.
A vibe. From afar, inside, and the moment you step out. From a native NYer, this is saying a lot. They have chocolate made in Brooklyn with clean ingredients so you know it’s real. I got the Matcha sweetened with oat milk and trust that it was a great call. The taste delivered, and my friend got an iced latte. He thoroughly enjoyed his beverage as well. I’m definitely coming back and trying the iced latte to see how it compares next time.
