☕ Ralph’s Coffee Times Square — A Classic Coffee Break in the Heart of New York
During my recent trip to New York City, one place I intentionally made time for was Ralph’s Coffee, especially the branch near Times Square. Surrounded by flashing billboards, crowds, and nonstop energy, this café felt like a small, stylish escape where time slowed down just enough to enjoy a good cup of coffee.
Ralph’s Coffee was created by Ralph Lauren, the iconic American fashion designer, and first opened in 2014 in New York City. The idea behind the café was to extend the Ralph Lauren lifestyle beyond fashion and into everyday moments — especially coffee. From the beans to the cups, everything reflects the brand’s signature American elegance, combining classic design with warmth and comfort. The café has since become a must-visit spot for both coffee lovers and fans of the brand.
📍 Location
The Ralph’s Coffee near Times Square is located in Midtown Manhattan, just a short walk from Times Square and close to several Ralph Lauren retail stores. Its central location makes it perfect for a quick break while sightseeing, shopping, or before heading to a Broadway show. Despite being so close to one of the busiest areas in the city, the café itself feels calm and inviting.
☕ Popular Menu Items
Ralph’s Coffee focuses on quality rather than variety. Their signature drink, Ralph’s Roast, is made from carefully selected organic beans, offering a smooth yet rich flavor. Other popular choices include:
• Latte and Cappuccino, served in the iconic green cups
• Iced Coffee and Cold Brew, perfect for warmer days
• Hot Chocolate, which is surprisingly rich and comforting
For something sweet, the café offers classic baked goods like brownies, cookies, croissants, and seasonal pastries that pair perfectly with coffee.
⏰ Opening Hours
Most Ralph’s Coffee locations near Times Square are open daily, generally from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, though hours may vary slightly depending on the season or holidays.
💰 Prices
Prices are higher than an average coffee shop, but reasonable considering the brand and location:
• Coffee drinks typically range from $6 to $8
• Specialty drinks may go up to $10
• Pastries usually cost around $5 to $7
🏡 Atmosphere
What truly makes Ralph’s Coffee special is the atmosphere. The deep green color palette, wooden accents, and vintage details create a timeless, classic feel. It feels less like a trendy café and more like stepping into Ralph Lauren’s world — refined, cozy, and effortlessly stylish. The space is not very large, but every corner is beautifully designed and extremely photogenic.
✨ Final Thoughts
Ralph’s Coffee Times Square is more than just a place to grab caffeine. It’s a lifestyle experience — a quiet, elegant pause in the middle of New York’s chaos. Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast, a Ralph Lauren fan, or simply looking for a stylish café to relax in, this is a spot worth checking in at. For me, it was the perfect balance of great coffee, beautiful design, and classic New York charm. ☕🗽

I came across the Ralph Lauren drink truck, which was serving everything from coffee to tea and hot chocolate. I went for an iced tea and it was really good, refreshing and full of flavor. The prices are on the higher side, but that’s expected given the location and the brand. Overall, a very cute spot and a lovely experience!

So worth stopping here. I got here early after opening on a drizzly morning, so there was no line. Got the gingerbread iced latte and it slapped!

We love Ralph’s, especially their chocolate chip cookies, so my husband made a special stop to pick some up before leaving the city. When our daughter was eating one this afternoon she found several pieces of plastic baked into her cookie. So disappointing and something that needs to be addressed with their quality control.
