I received great service from friendly staff, but the food was quite unremarkable. We ordered the truffle pizza, Pasta Tartufata, and grilled vegetables. Unfortunately, the pizza lacked flavor, the pasta was slightly overcooked, and the vegetables tasted like the frozen ones you find in a supermarket. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

We recently dined at Rampoldi for the first time, and we can’t wait to return.
Valentina made our experience even better with her excellent recommendations, we loved the duck confit and scallops

This was our first time dining at Rampoldi. This is their first restaurant outside of Monaco, where they have been established since 1946. The style and design of the restaurant is chic and comfortable. But our servers made the experience the best. Matteo and Christian were so amazing, conscientious and kind. We started with the calamari which was so delicate and delicious. The marinara sauce that accompanied it was fabulous. Then I had the eggplant Parmesan flan. It wasn’t exactly a flan but rather a beautifully executed eggplant Parmesan with a delectable marinara sauce and a ricotta cream sauce. Divine! We also had the homemade tagliatelle with beef which was a slow roasted short rib that made for an absolutely pasta dish. We also tried the duck confit but that was on the dry side and not truly a duck confit. But we will be back to try the other yummy items on the menu!

The food here was great, but the service was off a bit. I received my cocktail 10 minutes after my appetizer, which just meant I ended up ordering less booze throughout my meal. Other guests seem to be getting quicker treatment. That being said I’m giving them four stars because it did improve as the meal went on, and they gave us free Prosecco because it was our anniversary.

We worked with Rampoldi for a private event and could not be happier. Everything from the beauty of the venue to the wonderful setting, excellent service, and seamless coordination truly made a positive impact on our guests and helped create a memorable experience for everyone involved!

Cocktails are really good!

So last night our experience, or lack thereof, at Rampoldi finally convinced my wife that it’s not really feasible to get food or cocktails here. This is our 4th time here and every experience has been more frustrating and disappointing than the last. It is such a shame as it’s a prime pre-Lincoln Center performance location. We stopped in 50 minutes before the ballet was to start to get a cocktail and some apps. Place was half full but we sat at the bar for 20 minutes without the bartender ever acknowledging us, let alone giving us any indication we might be able to order something, anything, ever. In his defense they had one bartender for the entire restaurant and bar an hour before performance time at a place that bills itself as a pre-theater destination. This place could be so good! But alas, it’s either terribly managed or just not managed and running on auto-pilot with predictable results. We ended up leaving with nothing, waste of time, so tantalizing, so seemingly inviting, but ultimately no matter how hard you try or hope, at Rampoldi you’re doomed to 1) not get served and give up or if you have LOTS OF TIME 2) get served in some haphazard super slow way but not get what you ordered and also get a bill that has little relevance to what you ordered. We give up and we could have been regulars if this place was halfway competent in serving its wannabe customers!
