Spotted this place just across the street from the hotel we stayed at. Turned out it was simple and delicious. A quick pickup meal before heading out to do other things. Menu is basically dishes and bowls centered around rotisserie chicken with cold sides in the refrigerator. Also have quarters and halves of rotisserie chicken by itself. Only a couple of tables inside so it's intended mostly for takeout.

A small rat at the restaurant tried to climb in my hair and feed me a plate of ratatouille. I found it odd at first, but the food was delicious! I talked to him more and he was eager to share how he became the restaurant's head chef. Apparently his name is Remy. We shared contact information and he has been sending me pictures of his dishes and even recipes ever since! TLDR: Excellent service and high quality food.(Edit: The picture below is of my rat friend! Once again, the restaurant was lovely.)

I got half chicken, potato salad and water... Midway through eating it, I found a hair in the potato salad. I am so disappointed! I am never going back!

If you're in the east side near 39th street and third avenue and want to catch a quick grub during lunch then definitely come by here. I am not going to lie the quality of the chicken + sandwich was undefeated. It was very great, filling, and tasty. Would definitely stop by here again during lunch!

Fabulous little grab and go. My favorite item is the split pea soup (vegan). Ugh, it's to die for. As someone who enjoys the taste of vegetables, it can be tricky to find a non-meat soup that doesn't taste like it was prepared for a geriatric community that gave up on salt/taste/life in general. This place does soup right. And, of course, their ratatouille and veggie quiche are spot on.

Just like the movie, the ratatouille brought me back to my childhood. Very glad to try this restaurant, and highly recommend!
Great food. Super nice owner. Nice location. As a family, we love to split a whole chicken and some sides and sit outside.

Authentic French flavors. Very well spiced. But the sandwich specials disappointed. Only 2 taters and a sad amount of gravy in a Sammich with no cheese made me sad. But still gets a 4 for delivering a tasty meal. Just not a filling one.
