This is the go-to sports bar for me and my friends since none of us can be bothered to pay for cable. The food here is casual but great quality. We love the buffalo wings, sweet potato fries, french onion soup, and chicken parm hero. Looking forward to coming back once we can dine inside among crowds again.
A very clean sleazy bar on 2nd Avenue. Has been there for decades. From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., all Mondays and Fridays. All well drinks are $5! Charlie is the nicest bartender on the upper East Side.
I'm not sure it's utterly fair to say something about this place based on my Saturday evening visit, but the service was slow—if not unbearable, and their famous wings tasted somewhere between okay and disappointing. It was still a enjoyable experience thanks to the superb quality beer and the amiable servers who try hard to run the tables sane.
