Food was not the best. Drinks were so sweet. Service was not the best. Ambiance was off but couldn't put my finger on what exactly it was. Went here with a pulsd voucher so paid much less- normal pricing was unreasonable for the quality of this place.

Super cute and fun space for a group / friends. I loved the atmosphere. The game area is a key feature and I think it's well outfitted. Be forewarned, food and drinks *are* overpriced imo, but I guess you should expect that at a hotel lol. I would have preferred the music selection be a little edgier, but I also went knowing that they would probably have a neutral vibe being that it's a hotel as well.

I came to Recreation Bar and was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and accommodating the staff were. I received service from Majed and he provided excellent service. The food was okay, but the overall experience made it worthwhile. Being able to enjoy quality time with friends and family while having fun is definitely a reason to visit. Recreation feels like an arcade, with table games and a basketball court, which adds to the atmosphere. I thought it was really cool to chat and play games while having brunch and a few drinks. The brunch menu prices are pretty reasonable. I came for brunch and would definitely return to try the dinner menu. The only thing I would suggest is perhaps adding a dessert to the menu for someone who likes to celebrate occasions with something sweet.

We had a reservation confirmed at Recreation for our holiday party, and one week before the event they informed us that our reservation was canceled so they could accommodate another company’s party instead. This was extremely unprofessional and left us scrambling to find a new venue last minute. If you value reliability and respect for your time, I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

I was staying at the Moxy. This is the restaurant of the hotel. I could not get a table because it was booked for 3 external parties. The people (manager?) told me if was not their problem because they are a separate business. This is the last time I am staying at a Moxy.

Recreation feels less like a bar and more like stepping into someone’s living room during the holidays (in the best way). The mix of board games, retro touches, and cozy Christmas decorations gives it a warm, home-like vibe that made me forget I was even out.. time just disappeared. The drinks were fantastic but what really sealed the night was the service: welcoming, charismatic, and genuinely attentive in a way that elevated the whole experience. I’ll definitely be back!
