Super cute and fun space for a group / friends. I loved the atmosphere. The game area is a key feature and I think it's well outfitted. Be forewarned, food and drinks *are* overpriced imo, but I guess you should expect that at a hotel lol. I would have preferred the music selection be a little edgier, but I also went knowing that they would probably have a neutral vibe being that it's a hotel as well.
I came to Recreation Bar and was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and accommodating the staff were. I received service from Majed and he provided excellent service. The food was okay, but the overall experience made it worthwhile. Being able to enjoy quality time with friends and family while having fun is definitely a reason to visit. Recreation feels like an arcade, with table games and a basketball court, which adds to the atmosphere. I thought it was really cool to chat...
Josh the bartender & Michael the manager were absolutely amazing!! They were very friendly & took great care of us. We enjoyed chatting with them. We will definitely be back next time we are in NYC.
