Placed an order for pickup and let them know I’d be bringing the baked goods on a flight. They packaged everything extremely securely, and it arrived in Singapore in perfect condition. Highly recommend!

The midnight banana bread was possibly the best banana bread I've ever eaten. It was so dense and moist and yet extremely soft like dark clouds gently drifting through the night sky. The chocolate flavor was rich and not overly sweet, and didn't overshadow the banana flavor. I would like more of this available to me at all times, please.
PB/miso cookie didn’t live up to the hype for me. way too sweet and i didn’t taste any miso flavor at all..
Get there early so they have stock of their whole menu, there isn’t a place to congregate inside so be prepared to find a place to sit down elsewhere. The homemade Oreo is better than the store kind, chocolate chip cookie is delightfully crispy and warm, simply a one of a kind cc cookie. Their assortment of other cookies and bars are certainly meant for the culinary innovator without being too pretentious.
The cinnamon bun was the best I’ve ever had; full stop

Unexpected incredible bun!
I was sad that all buns were sold out when I visited after 3pm on a weekday :(
I returned on a Saturday morning and waited in a queue for around 15 mins.
The trip back and wait were totally worth it!

I had been meaning to try this place for a while, and I was disappointed with the cookie I got. The cardamom on the cardadoodle is not ground nearly fine enough, it ends up sticking in your teeth and turning bitter, leaving a long, unpleasant aftertaste. As a cardamom lover, this was a bummer. The base of the cookie was nice though, crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. Prices were also decent, especially considering the area.

I’ve tried 4 cookies in NYC in the last 2 weeks and I have to say Red Gate bakery comes in first place. I will preface by saying I prefer a cookie that’s thinner with crispy edges and gooey in the middle. So this was perfection.

This place is insane. Everything I've tried is basically the best of its kind that I've tried. I've tried many more things than what the picture indicates!

Red Gate Bakery has some of the most interesting pastries around town, and they do tend to pull it off. Not everything they do is equally incredible, but I definitely recommend going and giving a few things a try. You won't be disappointed.
