Nos atendió una chica que se llamaba Crystal. La atención normal, nada fuera de lo común. La comida normal, nada fuera de lo común. Un sitio de precio medio donde probar langosta sin que te saquen un riñón. El problema vino cuando tuvimos que pagar. Al parecer es costumbre que te traigan la cuenta sin pedirla (cosa que en España pensaríamos que te están invitando a irte si no vas a pedir más platos). La pregunta fue si queríamos algo más (dijimos que no porque aún estábamos cenando) y nos trajo directamente la cuenta. Nos la soltó en la mesa sin más explicaciones y nos dio las gracias. Al ver la cuenta habían añadido un 18% de propina, lo cual en cuentas como esas ascendía el valor del ticket a un precio bastante alto. Me levanté a preguntarle y a decirle que propina le iba a dar pero que un 7% o así, porque un 18% era una cantidad demasiado grande y me empezó a gritar... quería además, por lo visto es costumbre allí, llevarse mi tarjeta para pagar y devolvérmela después y le dije que no que yo iba a pagar donde fuera pero que mi tarjeta no se la llevaba y más me gritaba aún. Cuando fuimos a pagar, puso otra vez el 18% a pesar de que le había dicho que no y estuvimos discutiendo un rato hasta que el dije... mira un 7% o nada y me dijo ¿sabes qué? que no te voy a cobrar adiós. Y se fue. A lo que tuve que ir a buscar a alguien que me cobrara para poderme ir. Fue una situación super violenta porque ella se puso muy agresiva cuando vio que le decía que no a esa propina tan elevada. Yo lo siento si los sueldos no son altos, pero no tengo por qué pagar casi 30$ de más solo porque es costumbre. Sinceramente, ya vale el viaje y la ciudad lo suficiente como para que te sangren más todavía. Y yo sí que iba a darle propina pero no un 18% Finalmente vino la encargada y había quitado del ticket toda la propina. Aún así, tuvo que cobrarme ella y la forma en que lo hizo seguía siendo agresiva hasta el punto de que cuando pagué me dijo "Get out". No deberían dejar que se trate así

Had an amazing experience and would definitely return! The ambience was relaxed and inviting, the service was timely and efficient, and the food was fresh and hot. Coming from Houston, I have to say that New York outshines Red Lobster in overall restaurant experience. Thanks, and see you next time!

Arrived at 530 and promptly showed to table. The server was very nice and welcoming. We knew what we wanted and she took our order. We received our orders and she returned several times to see if our food was good and if we needed anything else. This was a very pleasant experience and we recommend this restaurant very highly.

I love Red Lobster Times Square. Everyone is so nice to me and my family. I would like to give a huge thank you to the server Jose P. He is the best server in Times Square. He definitely needs to get promoted to be one of the managers at this location. He is a very hard worker and not to mention one of the smartest person you will ever meet. I love the food especially the bar harbor is my absolute favorite.
