Happened across this amazing restaurant in the West Village and had the best cauliflower dish ever. As a vegetarian, it’s not easy to find Taiwanese food, and this place was a hit! Ambiance was superb. Cocktails and mocktails were delicious. I can’t wait to come back for the vegetarian tasting menu.

we made a reservation pretty easily day of and ordered from the a la carte menu. the zero proof drinks we ordered were delicious. the appetizers were great but the two mains we had were incredibly mid. the hainanese chicken was so salty it burned and the lu rou fan was not what you would expect. the pork belly was not rendered and not really seasoned either. it left a very porky taste in my mouth and we couldn’t finish more than one piece each.
this didn’t feel like a michelin rated restaurant and was pretty disappointing unfortunately. maybe the tasting menu is better…?

Wow wow wow! What a top notch evening, from the atmosphere to the cocktails to the food.

Fun and cosy place to hang out with friends along with spectacular food. The highlights were the amazing quality of sea food dishes. And the ability of the chef to turn even 'every day' Veggies like zucchini and potatoes into delicious bites.

A superb evening at the Red paper clip. One I am looking forward to having again with fun, food and friends.

A Truly Memorable Evening at Red Paper Clip (NYC)
We had the pleasure of dining at Red Paper Clip recently in NYC, thanks to a friend who hosted us for what turned out to be an unforgettable evening. The food was absolutely exceptional—creative, refined, and packed with flavor.
My personal favorites were the oyster, potato & caviar dish (a luxurious bite), and everything brioche. For dessert, we had the Crème Fraîche Sorbet ( highlight of my meal), a light, tangy, and refreshing finale. The Negronis and wine flowed generously and set the tone for a relaxed and celebratory night.
The ambiance was intimate yet lively, and catching up with old friends made the evening even more special. Red Paper Clip really delivered on all fronts—food, drinks, and atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and elevated dining experience in the city.

Michelin star restaurant in NYC, I felt so lucky to enjoy a meal here. Kindest staff; we did the tasting menu with wine pairing and it was unbelievable with must try dishes including hamachi, everything brioche, and the agnolotti. Can’t wait to go back.

The tasting menu and cocktails were phenomenal. Our server was awesome. I think there may have been staffing issues that evening as he was over-worked. He was great in his own capacity, e.g., not his fault.

I’d go again.

The everything brioche and the chicken were the best dishes. The hamburger was good but too salty.

Overall fine. I did my research before and saw mixed stuff. It was a cool experience and probably good a few years back but it seems very fine now.

I liked every dish except first one- cucumbers. Other dishes tested really good, especially pasta with black truffles and lobster tail. Drinks were strong and not too sour. Also I liked dessert, but, from my perspective, dishes were really small and I ( small young lady 118 pounds) left restaurant not full. Otherwise, I had wonderful dinner there and tried new, delicious dishes
