Atmosphere is that of a small Italian owned business, you get real comfortable with people real last lol the service was nice and as speedy as they can be when they’re making everything fresh (took about 10ish minutes for my sandwich to be made). The food: healed me. It was $20 which is a lot but it was packed! I got their special, the Cousin Ciro, and it was crispy and spicy and so good. Definitely worth the wait and the price

Had this place saved for ages, stumbles across it while going for a walk & decided let me give it a try. Unfortunately, the sandwich I got was soo underwhelming I forced myself to finish it, bc HEY…it was. $17.50 & I wasn’t tossing it away in THIS economy. I had the Uncle Phil, with BARELY any balsamic glaze in it. Personally wouldn’t get that again.

Bread was stale which ruined the whole sandwich. Mozzarella was a bit dry and rubbery. Such a shame, I was excited about this. Really hesitated to write this review.

Stale bread on a 19 dollar sandwich and 1 dollar extra for arugula. This neighborhood breaks my heart.

I hesitate to write this review, mostly because I want to support local businesses and I’ve eaten here about 20 times over the years. Unfortunately, the past two trips have confirmed what I feared to be happening: the quality and quantity of sandwich is cratering, especially for the price. To charge $16 for a razor-thin slice of dry prosciutto on stale bread isn’t justified, even on Mulberry. These sandwiches used to absolutely crush, and were filled with lots of ingredients. That doesn’t seem to be the case anymore, which super stinks. Hopefully we can turn it around!

My first time here and I love this place! The owner is so nice and welcoming. And I saw how he was giving fresh free baguettes to less fortunate man who stopped by, such a rare thing to see in NYC!

I was walking around “little Italy” and came across this very pleasant and familiar place. Very good sandwich (I asked for the house's recommendation). Two people eat well! Worth the visit!!
