We had a great experience at The Regular while in town for the marathon. The food was amazing and I can’t say enough about the friendly staff, they were all attentive and a big shout out to the barista in the front…she greeted everyone with a smile and was so pleasant going above and beyond to make everyone that walked in the door feel like so welcomed.

Such a hidden gem!! Loved the food, atmosphere, ceremonial grade matcha, the service, and vibe!! The special today was sooo good and all the ingredients tasted very fresh. Coffee was super great too.

The staff is friendly, and I’m sure they do what they can,but the kitchen is extremely slow, which is especially disappointing for a breakfast spot. We visited New York over the weekend, and even though it was just the two of us, we waited nearly 50 minutes for a bagel. When it finally arrived, both bagels were burnt, and our French toast order never came. It’s frustrating because everything looks delicious, but the kitchen’s pace really takes away from the experience. If you’re not in a rush, maybe you won’t mind... but it wasn’t for us.
I had the bagel and the French toast and both were amazing! It’s small and cozy and just a nice spot to stop for brunch!

We walked to Regular NYC from our hotel and really enjoyed it! It’s a small, cozy spot with great coffee and food. I had the maple oat milk latte, which was delicious, and we shared a Reuben sandwich on toasted sourdough and a chicken salad sandwich — both were excellent. The server was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the pricing wasn’t bad for New York City. A great find for breakfast or lunch in the city!
