A Disappointing Evening at reserve cut My anticipation for a delightful meal at Reserve Cut was met with disappointment due to significant service delays and a steak that left much to be desired. Upon arrival, the ambiance of the restaurant promised a fine dining experience, yet the lengthy wait for service soon set a different tone for the evening. The main highlight of the meal, the steak, failed to meet expectations on several fronts. Describing it as tasting "like paper" may sound harsh, but it aptly conveys the lack of flavor, tenderness, and juiciness one would expect from a premium cut of meat. It seemed as if the steak was not only poorly seasoned but also lacked the culinary expertise in its preparation to elevate its natural flavors. Moreover, the extensive waiting time before receiving service compounded the disappointment. While I understand that unforeseen delays can occur, especially during peak hours, the wait was significant enough to impact the overall dining experience negatively. It seemed indicative of deeper issues, perhaps related to staffing or kitchen management, that need to be addressed.Considering the premium prices and the restaurant's reputation, the expectation was for both the food and service to be of high quality. Unfortunately, the experience did not justify the cost, leaving me to conclude that the value proposition of Reserve Cut is lacking. For a restaurant that prides itself on offering a superior dining experience, the discrepancies between expectation and reality were too vast to overlook. In conclusion, while every restaurant can have an off night, the issues encountered during my visit suggest that reserve cut needs to reassess and enhance both its kitchen practices and service management to live up to its esteemed reputation. A focus on quality control, staff training, and customer feedback mechanisms could greatly benefit the establishment in improving its dining experience. I remain hopeful that these areas will be addressed, potentially transforming future visits into the exceptional experiences they are meant to be.

The place looks beautiful, great decor, kudos to the DJ for the amazing selection of music. My fiancée ordered a filet mignon and asked for it to be medium well , steak came raw and she called the server again and he took it and it came back raw again to our disbelieve. Also if you only have discover as a payment option you are screwed, once I was paying I was told they don’t take discover , so either tell me before I order or write it on the website. The server said the reason was because they have an old system which is absurd , you spend all that money on interior design and you can’t update your system.Had to use Apple credit card unfortunately.Wish you guys the best

Had a booking for 4 people. on 26 February..Overpriced and poor service. Two first courses orders taken by waiter only to come back and say they are not available. Did waiter not know this in advance? Had to then reorder. In addition one main course came well done despite being ordered as medium rare. Waiter confirmed it was an error and they made another one. This of course meant that one main course came 20 minutes after all finished main course. All in all an amateur horrible and unprofessional experience. They came to apologise and one would have expected that they would make some concessions on final bill, but even that they did not have the professional understanding and courtesy to do. We will be voting with our feet and never step inside this establishment . There are so many amazing kosher establishments in Manhattan and do yourself a favour and don’t waste your evening on reserve cut.
