Everything here is excellent - from the coffee, which is top notch, to their sandwiches, which are really well made and delicious. The pastries are always fresh and tasty, and staff is really nice and easy to talk to. Highly recommend coming here if you’re in the neighborhood!

So good! Definitely stop by whether you’re local or passing through the area. Coffee is great, including iced/hot, drip/espresso. Service is so helpful and friendly. If you have time, it’s a great place to chill and read the newspaper. I think they keep a copy or two of the day’s NYT for customers to read.

There aren’t many cafés where you can get like regular weekday, breakfast sandwiches, and a cup of coffee. Sullivan Bakery is too expensive. Coffee Project doesn’t have enough food. There’s nowhere to sit at Birch Coffee.
Rex is the answer to all shortcomings of other neighborhood cafés. Reasonable prices and a lot of seating with good fast, quality, food, and coffee.
