I had chosen this place since they had options for gluten-free and dairy free breakfast options! I’m really not a breakfast person but loved the website options.\nI chose the bar, which was made of different seeds, etc. Yum! \nI also purchased a gluten-free coffee cake item to try for later. Great flavor and amazingly moist texture. \nI was also very delighted with the redeye coffee! \nIt was an absolute joy to have found this gem of a place!

Updating my review as i continue to visit here and get coffee and muffins every morning and they are delightful! What is even more delightful was the wonderful cashier this morning (around 9am)who greeted me with a smile today and recommended the strawberry muffin (young blonde curlyish hair). Just wanted to give this amazing cashier a shout out!!
$ 12 for a bacon egg and cheese on a small English muffin is cray, even in NYC. Tasted good though!

Rex is a hidden gem! This is my go to coffee shop every morning on my way to work. The coffee is delicious, the pastries are to die for and the staff is so friendly! They know me by name already, which is one of the many reasons I love it. Your quintessential “I’m a regular here” experience. If you’re in the areas definitely check it out!
