This spot never disappoints. They serve fantastic dishes for reasonable prices, there no long wait even when they are packed.
This spot is worth trying. They have big portions for convenient prices. Always clean and with good atmosphere. Will visit here again.
Was looking for a delicious place to go after going to see a musical and found this delightful place. Authentic Japanese food, stuff that I haven't seen much outside of Japan. The food was flavorful and deliciously hot. Service was great - attentive but giving space. There are more intimate tables areas available, but we sat at the bar. Would go back 100%%%
Nice place. Very authenticate. I stayed there until 2
Oishi - great tasting food. Went there after midnight and it was bustling. Great place. Had my okhonomiyaki fix. Loved every bit of it.
I had the seafood sashimi rice bowl which had generous portions and really fresh raw fish. My favorite is the salmon. The dragon roll and salmon avocado roll were great too. Efficient and fast service to boot!
The food here is so delicious! Small portions so u have to order a few dishes
This is my go to Izakaya in NYC, I've been going here since teenage years with my friends (no alcohol back then of course) to this date as an office worker. Their service is always great, food is unconditionally deciduous, and I always leave with a happy soul. Their pricing is very reasonable and they don't charge tips.
A business colleague and I had dinner here. It was a variety of sushi rolls along with some beer and sake. Great meal and great price.
Food is generally sweet here. Some dishes are delicious (mentaiko udon) and some are just interesting. But overall food is on the sweeter side. Draft beer is one of the top - so clear and crisp. Staffs respect your time and privacy - they do not force you to leave.

The food was DELISH. The place is rather small and a bit cramped, but still cozy. Pricing is decent, but portions are small. Nice to visit, but I wouldn't be a regular.
This is the most authentic Japanese restaurant that I can think of in New York City, not only of the staff fully Japanese the menu and the food are items that you would find in Japan. Not Americanized versions! ! ❗There is also no tipping here ❗ Just like in Japan tipping is not expected or required due to the generous pay the staff receives. The atmosphere is really relaxed, and honestly the food is some of the best I've had since coming back from Japan. If I can give this place 10 stars I would. The staff is the best, they're extremely patient if you do not understand something as well as accommodating to the customers needs. I definitely would recommend ANYONE TO CHECK IT OUT. YOU'LL LOVE IT. (note that on Fridays and Saturdays it tends to be a little bit louder due to businessmen coming with colleagues to drink and socialize)
Excellent service, accommodating and fast. Food was good and love the no tipping policy. I recommend the okonomiyaki.
The plates come as generous portion bearing good qualities. What a wonderful ambiance to feel a glimpse of Japanese izakaya in midtown Manhattan.
Japanese specialties and small plates to allow sampling of many different items. All prepared quickly and served as they are ready. Very delicious and highly recommend this place.
