I've been to this place several when Tom Colicchio was running it - well, you know, his food should never be taken out of the tele into the real world, and it was bloody awful. Now with new management the place really turned around - it's about quality and ambiance, not pretense and sauce doodles instead of food. Smallish, but well executed menu, extensive wine list, competent bar drinks (with 4-6 pm happy hour). Exceptional service, great ambiance.

Consistent and productive communication with Emily (events manager) from beginning to the final day of our event. Excellent service, delicious food, great ambiance, lovely and flexible space. lastly, views of the East River are spectacular during day/evening/night).
