The star of our Saturday brunch was the view - fortunately it was a very nice day. We enjoyed a table at the window and really enjoyed scenery. The service was top notch, and the food was very good, although a little pricey for what it was. Still worth it.

We had a very pleasant experience dining here. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our meal. We really enjoyed the à la carte menu — the variety and quality of the dishes were excellent. Everything we ordered was flavorful and beautifully presented. Robert is a wonderful restaurant, I have dined there several times Our server was very energetic, positive and informative. ONLY, on the hottest day of the year thus far, they did not have proper air conditioning. It was a problem within the building and not the restaurant, but it would have been nice to be notified prior to our arrival. It was my husband's birthday dinner and he was too uncomfortable to stay for dessert and we left early. Too bad.

Robert never fails to exceed our expectations in food, ambience and service. The killer views don't hurt either. Have taken many in and out of town guests here and they are always impressed. Our recent guest has made reservations for Saturday to bring their own guests there for dinner.

The food and service at Robert is always exceptional! Tonight, a friend and I went there to celebrate her birthday. Initially, we were unable to secure a table by the window facing Columbus Circle. The lovely woman at the front desk was aware of our preference and, after a few minutes at another table, was able to move us to a table very near the window. My friend and I have dietary restrictions due to food allergies, and our server could not have been more attentive and patient. We started with the Spring Minestrone soup and the Tuna Tartare. Our entrees were the Spaghetti'd Squash and the Scottish Salmon. For dessert we shared the Molten Chocolate Cake. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented! The atmosphere is serene, and the restaurant is elegant. It is the perfect dining experience!

Took a friend to celebrate to Robert his 75th birthday. The restaurant, as on other occasions, was on the top of his game. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely dinner at Robert. The service was great, the food & beverages were all wonderful, and the space is gorgeous. The burrata with balsamic caviar and red & yellow tomatoes was the best I've had in a long while. The Potatoes Anna and grilled asparagus were delightful side dishes. There was, however, a very poorly behaved French child that was supremely annoying. After running amok for most of the time we were there - accompanies by a neglectful / overindulgent mother, finally the manager was able to remind the parent & child that this was a restaurant & all guests (including children) are expected to behave in a manner that doesn't bother other guests. A bit too little, too late. What is the correct way to handle parents who haven't taught their children how to behave? It's not an easy question or situation for the management to handle - but unfortunately it did detract from the evening & should have been addressed sooner.

Robert is a winner. It's a beautiful setting with a great view of Central Park and Columbus Circle (from the window seats anyway). Lunch on a Monday was terrific, excellent burrata, tasty salmon, and delectable cheesecake. Staff was helpful and polite and very solicitous. Great all around!
