Roberta’s by Penn station has delicious pizza, with fresh ingredients. This used to be my favorite pizza place in Manhattan. However the pizza by the slice downstairs has decreased in size by 40-50% from when it opened, and is still the same price. This is very disappointing. The slice is so small now that I hesitate to go back, since every time I go the slice looks smaller. You need 2 slices now to be satisfied, when one slice is usually enough for me. It is smaller than a regular NY slice. Can Roberta’s go back to offering the slice you used to have or adjust pricing accordingly downstairs? Customers are noticing. You can also offer a bigger slice for a dollar more as an option. It saddens me to hesitate to go back now. The pizza is delicious.

Had an absolutely amazing time tonight! It was my first time at this location and it was very busy tonight, but my waiter Brennan never faltered. My entire table felt very seen and attended to tonight. As per our waiter’s recommendation we had the dark matter, dirty devil martini, and a few wines; everything was amazing. Since it was so busy there was a tiny wait for food but it was well worth it! The bee sting pizza is something everyone should try at least once. Overall the experience was great but what really topped it off was the service from our waiter. Will definitely be back :)

Awesome experience! The pizza is amazing. The rooftop is a vibe! Charles is amazing! Brennan is an excellent waiter.
We were tourists and were told this is the best pizza place in NYC. I don’t recommend this place at all. We sat by the takeout area in the main level. We ordered one pizza slice, for $7 and the waiter forgot about our order. When I confronted after 20 mins, they put it another pizza slice in the oven. After another 10 mins, we got our slice. The pizza was burnt and tasted nothing extraordinary to ones you would get in your local area. It was a waste of money and time!

Bee sting is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 and I didn’t have to schlep to Brooklyn to get it! Nice modern location, convenient to Penn Station. If you are looking for “real NY pizza” this it via Brooklyn, just more elevated than what you’d get on any street corner. Highly recommend!

Really delicious meal here. I had heard a lot about the pizza, so was excited to try it. However, the pizza was actually not the star of the meal. The stracciatella and anchovies was far and away the strongest item we had. The caesar salad was also phenomenal, but the cheese was amazing.
The pizza was decent as well, but if we came back, we would likely lean on the appetizers more!

I have rarely experienced such unfriendly, unprofessional service. The waiter spills wine across the table without apologizing for the mistake. Afterward he pours back half of what was spilled. It wasn't a pleasure for us to be here.

I met my friend in NYC, she was coming from Connecticut and I was coming from New Jersey and we stumbled apron Roberta’s at Penn Station. We were so happy we did, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left! Our server was Camilo, the food runner was Nisaun, the bar tender was Hadji, they made the experience even better everything was great! We had a small issues which was corrected immediately and we could not have been happier! When we were ready for our check Jema, not sure if she was the GM or AGM came out to make sure all was good! She was just as amazing as her staff! Please keep this staff, now a days good staff is so had to find, I know because I am constantly looking! It is so wonderful to eat at a restaurant where the staff is happy and like there jobs! Thank you for a great meal and experience! We will definitely be back soon!
