I hadn't been to New York City for over ten years, but a business trip brought me back. Following a strong recommendation from a local friend, I tried Rocco Steakhouse, and it did not disappoint.

The steak was cooked perfectly, the highly-recommended mac and cheese was the ultimate comfort food, and the carrot cake was to die for.

The steak was good, as a decent steakhouse standard, though nothing particularly remarkable for Midtown. Waitstaff was sneezing and sniffling without a mask, which felt quite unhygienic and off-putting.

It was a busy Saturday evening and all the tables were taken. I had no reservation and I was solo.

Another lady walked in same scenario, they created a table up front that we shared. It was a fun time and the steak I had was delicious! I would go back!
