Just saw this the place is closed.
my burger came out over cooked. Dante instantly agreed and took my plate and got me a new burger...it was still overcooked. by this point I was already full from the other food we had, so I told him not to worry about it. the point is the quality of service is outstanding. there was no attitude or hesitation in making the meal right. the burger was still pretty good, just not the way I wanted it. I'd still recommend coming to this place and I will come back the next time I'm in NYC.
Great view of the rink! Excellent service
Great view of the tree and great food!
Food was okay but not worth the money. Service was poor. I would not recommend eating here.
Great location, right next to the ice rink. We had the fixed price lunch, which was excellent. Our server, Meridith was also great
Food was good, location is great, but make sure you are charged correctly!! I reserved a table for two for Thanksgiving lunch from Open Table. The Open Table reservation Page reads: ”$55 for lunch and $85 dinner”. (see attached) To make sure, I called the restaurant before going there and they confirmed that if our reservation is before 3:45 pm we will be charged for lunch price. Although my reservation was for lunch, they charged us for $85 each!!!!!! Would appreciate a response from the management.
Location is the experience, not the food. This place has a lot of potential, but it falls short.
So disappointed. It's a small and quirky menu that wants to be sophisticated, but really is not. It's portrayed as a family place, but it is mediocre for adults and there is almost nothing for kids 12 and under. Our kids, 9 and 13, looked at the menu and asked to leave. Out of our party of 6, 2 sides had to be repeatedly asked for. My Skirt Steak was an ultra well-done piece of rubber that I literally could not even cut with my steak knife and, after 2 bites, I did not even eat. We are a big caesar salad family and the chicken caesar salad was virtually tasteless. Typical bland, overpriced food you would expect at a resort trying to pump out food to as many as possible. It's all about quantity of orders output here, not about quality at all. Also, virtually NO gluten-free options at all.
I am very disappointed with this restaurant. I went on a nice trip with my family to New York excited to try the food. The service was horrible. My family and I waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes to get our food. The food was just ok and the $52 steak wasn’t good at all. I do not recommend taking your chances coming to this restaurant.

Jake the manager is incredibly rude!
Go for the Fat Cat burger, fries and a beer! Well located for those visiting the shops on 5th Av and the Rockefeller Center. Customer service was not that great, but... still worth a visit.
Fine location with awesome view outside with a fountain and ice rink for winter. Food was magnificent with fare price, great coffee and drinks, amazing team! Great work Rock Center Cafe!
Loved this place. It is located in the area where the ice rink is during winter, and has a bar and tables all the way to the fountain. The nice thing about it is that although it is in a tourist spot, down there there are no tourists walking around so you can have a nice meal and enjoy your stay.
Great lunch spot at the Rockefeller Center. The food was great and good service by the waitress. We sat very close the water fountain during hot sunny day in New York. For sure, we will return in the future.
