Wow. The ornaments hung from the ceiling were almost overwhelming. The BT was a bit rushed, but he was alome. The Weistenhepher was fresh and delicious. Will be back.

Beautiful restaurant. The food - was priced high for what it is. We shared the sausage platter ($60) pictured. Sauerkraut and sausage really isn’t worth that price but I know we are paying for the atmosphere. The alcoholic drinks were priced average but my son had a sprite that was $10. I’d say it’s worth checking out. At lunch there was no wait.

!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED !!!
Rude doorman.
I had made a reservation for my wife and daughter 2 months prior their trip to NYC.
They got there 13 mins late.
Doorman refused to let them in.
Fantastic way of ruining the Xmas spirit for a 7 yr old.

Waited over an hour in the cold WITH reservations.
Terrible Service.
Super dusty decor.
Tiny cramped space.
Cheap uncomfortable seats and tables.
German boarding school food would have been better than that slop we were served.
Ridiculous watered down over price drinks.
Don’t be fooled, with these reels the photographer is a magician.
You are rushed from the second you walk in, and forced out when trying to take pictures.

The Wiener schnitzel was not good, it was overpriced and not tasty. Not worth your time or money. If you read this and still go, I told you so… read the other reviews!!! #

You go for the Christmas decorations. Reservations highly recommend, but you could just go for a drink. Food is average. Service is a bit chaotic and not the most welcoming

I went to have dinner alone. When I arrived, there were clearly many empty seats in the restaurant, yet they told me there were no seats available for a single diner. So, do you look down on customers who come alone? If you're so unwilling to do business, I suggest you just shut down the whole restaurant.

AVOID this place. It is a total scam. They use the decoration to lure customers!! This is the only nice thing. The food is terrible, overpriced , all the people that work there are extremely rude and hardly speak any English!!!

The place is very well decorated. And that is the only thing that stands out positively about the place. The service is extremely bad, we had a reservation at 8 pm and they moved us 1 hour and a half later. They made us have dinner in 30 minutes because they were going to close. The service and attention were terrible, the waiters were very rude to another customer, they were rushing us when we arrived on time for our reservation and the terrible organization of the place made them seat us an hour and a half late.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Place!"
My experience was awful. The service was incredibly slow and rude; we waited for an hour to get in. The food was not good and the prices were way too high for what we got. Save your time and money—this place is a complete waste. The worst service, overpriced, completely awful.
I've seen bad reviews before but you won't understand until you try it yourself. Absolute scam. Ruined Christmas dinner. They treat customers like fools. The staff is terrible, nothing like American standards, Indian atmosphere with zero service experience. The restaurant charges an unheard of New York 18% service tax, if you refuse to sign the check they offer to call the police. Unfair situation but on Christmas Eve I didn't want to spoil the mood. We were prepared for overpriced cocktails, rushing to finish the food every minute, not the highest service, no room at the table, dirty toilets, but I have never seen such a force to tip anywhere.
P.S. Alcohol is sold under 21 without checking passports, but other institutions will contact them because of that.
Good luck scamming people during the festive period.
