I come here every weekend. The staff are very nice and approachable and the music is always popping. Most importantly, as a coffee critique I think their Columbian espresso is top notch, and the pastries and breakfast are great too.
I had ordered a coffee from the staff on the previous shift but didn’t get a receipt. When I asked for the bathroom code, the new staff member told me it was on the receipt. I let her know I hadn’t received one, and she insisted that I never placed an order. I had to pull up my credit card statement to show her the charge. Even then, she made a comment about how I didn’t order much and had been there a while. After a few minutes of back and forth, she finally unlocked the bathroom door, but the whole interaction felt unnecessarily uncomfortable and simply rude.

Came here to try and work for an afternoon. It was very hot inside, and the wifi also cut off two times (first time for over 20min, second time I bailed). It's also pretty loud. Don't recommend for working.

Terrific coffee
I was visiting some friends in NYC, and they brought me to this cozy little coffee shop--so glad they did! The place has such a chill, welcoming vibe, perfect for catching up or just unwinding.
I ordered the coconut coffee, and wow--absolutely delicious. Smooth, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness. It also came out super fast, within 5 minutes of ordering, which was a nice bonus.
Definitely a hidden gem. If you're in the area, this spot is worth a stop--especially for that coconut coffee!

So watery, with no even coffee taste. Was doubting myself ordering sth wrong but sadly it is ruining Colombian coffee. Worst coffee ever.

Requested a suggestion from the barista on the menu for a speciality coffee and they recommended the passionfruit coffee shake. I tried it. I didn’t like it at all. I asked for a refund or to get something else and the owner said “I don’t care if you leave me a bad review I’m not giving you anything or giving you a refund”… so the service was HORRIBLE, rude and unnecessarily so because I really just wanted a different coffee. Spending $10 on a bad coffee with a tip is crqzy. And for whatever reason they would not even consider giving me a regular coffee. I did not come back with any attitude so the returned attitude felt potentially racist? I just dont know why else she would flip like that.
I have been supporting that business for almost a year, but I will no longer support them. Highly suggest you don’t either because there are lots of other small companies to support in the area. The coffee is over priced and the owner is bitter.

Terrible service! I used to live in the neighborhood and came back to visit this spot I used to like. I asked for a cold matcha latte without ice — the guy with the buzz cut entered it into the system with no problem. But when I got my drink, it was filled with ice.
I told them I had asked for no ice, and the same guy said, “Then you’ll only have 50% of the drink left — you asked for an iced matcha latte, it comes with ice!” You should’ve told me that when I ordered, not after handing me a drink full of ice and basically threatening that I’d only get half a drink — after paying $8. Totally unacceptable.
It did not help that the drink tasted extremely bland, basically matcha powder with water.
I come here every day.

GREAT place to hang out and have breakfast. SO many vegan and gluten-free options. Coffee bar also had so many options - I don't drink coffee, but they had great matcha drinks. This is a great neighborhood, and everyone was so nice. Counter staff was awesome, and even the bathroom was so clean. It's great that you use a pass code to get in.
