Mostly Great Experience! We had a pleasant dining experience with delicious food and good service. However, our visit was slightly marred by some issues with the bathroom cleanliness. Unfortunately, there was no soap available, and the trash can was overflowing with tissue.

We have been fans of Rosa's since the late 1990's. Had dinner tonight at the Union Square Rosa's and had a wonderful meal with excellent service! Can't wait to return!

Calling you out Rosa Mexicano - come on now - the booths entering the restaurant have torn leather bench seats - and they've been that way going on over a year. I know because we come there every 3 months. This isn't a dive bar. When you turn the corner to the left headed towards the bar those aren't yet torn but they are sagging and crumbling leather. You can do better. If they are that way when we return in December we will go elsewhere. I don't walk in to spend 100-300 -500 for lunch minimum (depending on drinks and the number in the party) to be ok with that. Like I said - do better.

Made a reservation for a Saturday night. It was very busy, but we’re promptly seated. We ordered the guacamole, shrimp ceviche, birria quesotacos, and mac and queso. To drink we had mango margarita on the rocks and a cucumber mint refresher. The guacamole is made tableside and all ingredients are fresh. The shrimp ceviche had a generous amount of full shrimp. The birria quesotacos were so tasty, the meat just melts in your mouth. The Mac and queso was very good also. The drinks were perfect. The entire meal was pleasant. Our server was very friendly and attentive. He frequently checked in to see if we needed anything and he kept my margarita glass full which I truly appreciated. Definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been. You will not be disappointed.

Food and drinks were just ok, everything else was good - service, ambiance, asides from the music being a little too loud.
We got the frozen margarita pitcher and it was not good - definitely don't listen to the "best margarita in the city" claims on the menu. Tacos and ceviche tasted ok but very mediocre, which was unexpected based on the reviews.
The place itself has great seating capacity, I was surprised how big it actually is once you're inside and the concept is fun and colorful.

Great Mexican place, guacamole is great, the birria tacos were great. Prawn tempura tacos were a bit dry and lacking in flavour. Overall good food and nice atmosphere ??
We came 1 hr early and were immediately seated. Our waiter gave us some empanadas courtesy of the kitchen and was so lovely, funny, great service. Give Armando a raise!

Me and my family came to this restaurant on Saturday night. It was our first time and I noticed that they were very busy. It took a little while for our waiter to get to the table but we didn’t think anything of it initially. We placed our drink orders to start. Our drinks took about 15-20 minutes to come out. We again, just chalked it up as they were a little busy. After the drinks arrive the waiter is no where to be found again for another 10-15 minutes. We are starting to get frustrated as we’ve now been in the restaurant for over 35-40min and no one has taken our food order. As we’re looking around for our waiter, the manager (Sean) notices us getting frustrated and and comes and introduces himself. He asks us if he can help with anything and how are experience is going. We express to him how displeased we are with the service so far. He apologizes and assures us the rest of our experience will be much better. He immediately took our food order and another round of drinks. Our food and drinks came out timely and he checked on us multiple times throughout the rest of the meal. He truly did turn our experience around. As we were leaving Sean apologized again for the rough start. We truly appreciated his care and attention and he’s made us customers for life. Thanks Sean!

Went for the anniversary and was thoroughly impressed! Food tasted great, and each dish was perfect. The best thing, however, was the fresh tableside guacamole prepared just the way we like it. I'm not much of a fan of guacamole, but it was great and really complemented the chips, which had lemon inside and were crispy. The atmosphere was very engaging and alluring because of their special wall treatments that gave character to the food served. Exceptional service, along with very attentive, genuinely friendly staff, helped to make it a memorable evening indeed. Tacos went down a storm, particularly the duck and tempura shrimp, which were really full of flavor. The mushroom taco was the least exciting, but that was a small blip in an otherwise stellar meal. The night was really perfected by those crispy and sweet churros. Overall, this was an excellent restaurant to dine out in. Its atmosphere was very vibrant, and the service was super. In fact, this is a must-visit place for any guacamole lover or for someone who wants to enjoy great food. I highly recommend it for a very memorable dining experience.
