We drove from Westchester to this place because someone mentioned the food was good, which was OKAY. (ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH THE DRIVE- should've just gone to Bar Taco). The guac and cheese dip were the best part of the night. Drinks were ok. Our experience was the complete opposite of what we expected. First of all, the table they sat us in was SO wobbly, our waters kept spilling. The waitress finally came and changed us to a different table. After we placed our order, not even 20 minutes after our appetizers came out, they brought out our main courses. We had a small table of two - there was no room for all the dishes. I MYSELF had to take the initiative to move the dishes around, placing them on the table next to us, because these ppl were just putting dishes on top of menus which were STILL on our table. To make it clear, this wasn't the waitress, these were bus boys or bus girls, and what looked like a chef because he had a white uniform. Completely unprofessional. Of course, the waitress was nowhere to be found. Eventually we had to ask the manager for a drink. Probably one of the poorest experiences I've ever had.

Had an appointment in Union Square and stumbled upon this gem to grab a quick lunch! Discounted high end cocktails & a wide selection of delicious Mexican food menu options. I got something less traditional (the Mexican fried rice) but it was delicious nonetheless! Andres was very hospitable!

I’ve been to the other locations many times and they’re consistently great, which is why this experience was such a disappointment. This location did not match the quality or service of the others at all. I honestly wish I had taken the extra 20 minutes to go to the Lincoln Center location instead.
We were seated at a tiny table in the bar area, squeezed between two crowded tables. Once we sat down, it took about 10 to 15 minutes before our server even came over. We ordered shrimp nachos, empanadas, and chile rellenos with a side of rice and beans. The drinks came out quickly, but the food service was another story.
The empanadas arrived looking burnt. When we pointed it out, the server insisted that the dark color was because of beets in the crust. After tasting them, it was obvious they were actually burnt and they didn’t taste good at all. The nachos were the only thing that came out well.
After those first two dishes, we waited an additional 30 to 45 minutes for the entree. By the time it finally arrived, I asked for it to go. Even then, they forgot the beans. We tried asking another server who was helping a nearby table and she said she’d let someone know, but never followed through. We watched her walk around the restaurant without mentioning it to anyone. Eventually our original server returned and we were finally able to get the missing beans.
Overall, this location needs serious improvement with both service and food quality. I’ve had great experiences at the other locations, but I won’t be returning to this one.
EDIT: I would like to add I just tried the Chile rellenos I took home and it did not compare to previous times I’ve ordered this. It was extremely disappointing. I order that dish every time I go and it has never tasted this bad before. I am extremely disappointed.

You start in the door with an unhelpful, unpleasant and generally useless host. He seems to specialize in wiping down the menu covers not so much dealing with people. With a party of ten I would have thought a little attention was in order. The table wasn't ready on time so we were shipped to the bar area. There was no follow up to find us as promised. That was on we customers and another unpleasant grunting session from our miserable non host. The guacamole was good. The main course not worth a revisit. The coffee stunk. The room was noisy and too cold for all. Our waiter was decent. None of our group would go back. Adios non Amigos!
