Grease Mexican place with amazing margaritas and a great energy. Yes, the food is more expensive than your typical Mexican place, but it's worth it. All of the margs are good and the enchiladas are my favorite.

This is one of my favorite spots in the city. I've gone 3 times and everyone I bring here absolutely loves it. The food is incredible and reasonably priced. The restaruant is youthful and lively (though it depends on what time you go-I've only gone later in the evening so the crowd tends to be younger). The food like high-end Mexican food without an outrageous price tag. I like how each taco order comes with one so you can mix and match-I recommend the cauliflower taco and the birria tacos. Also the guacamole order comes cold with a BIG bowl of guac and unlimited chips, amazing. I've only had positive experiences with the servers, and the margaritas are delicious. If you're with a group, I recommend a pitcher (you get about 7-8 drinks for 75-85$) Overall a staple spot in the east village. Highly highly recommend.

I am tempted to give it 6 stars but I can only give 5. I was in NY for a family reunion and my cousins had booked a table for 12. Our table was ready in about 10 minutes later than expected as the restaurant was packed. (trust me they made it up with food and service).Food: we ordered a few selection from their taco menu which included beef, shrimp and pork. We also ordered margaritas. The food was top notch with fresh ingredients and very generous portions. The margaritas were also on par.Service: amazing! Our waiter was very responsive and had a smile the entire time. The general manager came to see us and offered us a few plates of nachos for free as a token of appreciation for our patience while we waited to get our table.Atmosphere: great for family, friends and dates. Restaurant was packed and that was a great sign.I'll def go back on my next trip!

Consistently good service and good. Margaritas shouldn't be missed and it's nice you can get them by the pitcher. The guac is a bit of a rip off but tastes great. When it's warm outside, this is a great place to hang and enjoy everything they have.

Rosie’s has been a staple for me for years, but I will not be returning given my last experience. My friends and I were dining in an outside hut and a homeless man entered where we were dining. He entered while our waiter was attending to our table. The waiter did not ask him to leave and then the waiter exited the outdoor dining leaving us alone with the man. The homeless man then proceeded to threaten my friend, say he was going to hit her, and take her away. This went on for ten minutes before the restaurant stepped in. The manager never came out and at the end all the offered was a free round of shots. We felt extremely unsafe and disappointed on how this was handled.

Amazing drinks and service!!! I am a vegetarian and the dish with the oyster mushrooms was phenomenal. I definitely recommend the Clasica, and the frozen pomegranate drink. Also, most importantly, the tres leches cake ‍

It was cold, I was tired, and I was hungry… and Rosie’s was the perfect pick me up. Was able to grab a seat at the bar on a Sunday night and loaded up on tacos and a classic margarita.Bonus- Sunday is happy hour all day!I appreciate that tacos are a La cart, so you can order an assortment and aren’t stuck with just one option. The esquites were also delish!
