This place is the bomb! We just arrived in NYC for a short visit and I had looked up good Korean places...this did not disappoint. Not what we weee expecting, but it was amazing. Great food and service. Very nice peeps and interesting food. Highly recommend getting a sandwich with smoked salmon and avocado.

Best food! Cozy back room dining. Plan to chill and spend some time there. Food comes out slowly but so worth it. We sipped on delicious chai and matte tea while waiting. Every guests food was amazing looking and large portions.

If you're looking for a cute little cafe/brunch place with caffeinated lattes, this is the place!! Came here with some friends in town to check out their specialty lattes. The sweet corn latte was delicioius with coconut heavy cream and espresso. Loved how it wasn't too sweet but thought the corn flavors would be more prominent. The flat purple was basically a black coffee with a thick layer of ube/regular cream with ube powder. The espresso was strong but nicely balanced with the cream. For food, the truffle mushroom toast offered a generous amount of mushrooms. It was well-seasoned with a nice garlic-y profile, but the truffle flavor could have been a little stronger in my opinion. Eggs were pretty standard. Loved how the toast soaked up the mushroom juices. Didn't get to try my friend's chicken sandwich but it looked very crispy and smelled yum. Enjoyed the chips with honey! The place was quite small with a couple of bar seating in the first part of the store, and several tables further inside (separated by a door). The former looked like a typical cafe/bakery, but the latter was a fancier white marble top tables with velvet blue chairs. Not sure what happened but some dishes came out really quickly but others took a while (more than 45 mins). Staff were polite but we often had to ask them for little things (brought food but forgot utensils, had to ask for napkins twice). I would definitely come back for the coffee drinks +/- brunch!

Not exaggerating, we waited 1 hr for our food and the place wasnt even busy... The waiter forgot our utensils and she seemed like she couldn't care less. We ordered 2 meals and only one came out so I had to just cancel the other one. Did not want to wait another 30 minutes, possibly. Even waiting for the bathroom took forever. The waiter must have stayed in there for 15 mins. Not a good experience and will definitely not going back. No food is worth waiting an hour for.

Really wanted to like this place but was disappointed by the slow service and pricing. From when we sat down and placed our orders to the food arriving, at least 45 minutes passed, if not more, with no explanation. The shrimp burger was pretty tasty, but we didn't love the tails being left on, and it felt like more could've been done for $18.

It was a dreary Saturday morning in the lower east side. My SO and I had made the arduous commute from NJ to NY, with the hopes of tasting the sweet nectar of the honey pancakes of the golden diner, just around the corner. After a 25 minute wait in the line, hiding from the rain tainted acidic from the noxious fumes of the industrial complex, sharing the protective awnings of never ending construction with piles of human excrement, the hostess of golden diner told us we'd have a 45 minute wait ahead of us. Fine. I put down my number and went to finding a cafe or book store for me and my better half to hide from the terrible weather in.Cue Round K by Sol.After a short walk around the block, we found Round K and were greeted by a small coffee bar with less room for walking than most smaller studio apartments in NY. We told the waitress "2 for here", wondering if "here" was even an option in this broom closet of a cafe. To our surprise, the waitress led us to the back of the bar, where a non-descript wall-colored door opened into a dark, moody, and enticing smoking room with glass candlestick holders adorning tables of marble and walls of purple velvet. If not for the early 2000s rave-pop music blaring at just too loud of a volume, I would have enjoyed it in there. We were given a menu and approximately 25 minutes to pick our selection of overpriced, overcomplicated "specialty coffees" that sounded intriguing enough for us to take the bait. We ordered a "toasted butter latte" and an "egg cappuccino" for a total of $22. Then we waited. And waited. Perhaps 20 minutes later, we were brought out drinks. In appearance, you could have called them rustic, perhaps appetizing. As in name, they were intriguing enough to taste, and I found myself pleasantly surprised by their complexity of flavor. However, I was soon unpleasantly surprised by their two major downfalls -- the drinks were both lukewarm (perhaps due to the 20 minutes that they were probably left out for before being brought to our table) and the egg in the cappuccino quickly cooked to form a drink that was as gagging as an "omelette in an espresso" sounds. My partner and I had barely 5 sips between the two of us.After 10 minutes of debating complaining to the waiting staff, we asked if our drinks could be reheated. The coffees were taken from us with the promise of being returned at a drinkable temperature. Instead, the waitress returned 5 minutes later saying that she was unable to reheat the drinks as it would "change the quality of the milk in the drinks", then left. We sat, dumbfounded. A few minutes later, the barista came to our table to re-explain the issue with the milk texture before asking if she could make us new drinks. Torn between having to pay $22 + tip for 5 sips of coffee and being forced to drink another two terrible coffees, I sat at a loss for words. I politely declined, meekly spouting some excuse that we were "already too full" and dismissing the embarrassed waitress.1/5 stars. The confused decor, the cramped layout, the nauseating drinks, and the naivety of the wait staff are excused only by the 50% refund we were given as we walked through the door for the first and last time.

This place is a WIN! Cozy atmosphere and bc of the different rooms and back patio there are kind of three different atmospheres to choose from. Our server was also the cook and is phenomenal. All the flavors are so well balanced and the portions are great. sandwiches come with a “side” (chips w a honey oil drizzle? YUM! With our shrimp sandwich and salad with the egg and bacon sandwich) which makes it even better for the price. All the sauces are great, the cuts of bacon are thick with the perfect juicy to crispy ratio, drinks with cream/ milk have adorable designs in them that make your day because cute things are wonderful. Bathroom is super comfortable! Must mention my bf’s life was changed by the heated seat toilet and bidet. The playlist that was on in the background had me dancing and in the flow?of life! ?perfectly curated but still feels like background music and is easy to have a conversation through.
