The best sushi I've had on the Upper East Side! Definitely need to call in advance to place your order because Roy is a one man show. The sushi is always super fresh and affordable. Aside from sushi, he also sells various fresh seafood as well.
I’m Japanese and I’m a very picky eater. I don’t know why I haven’t seen this place after I live here for a very long time. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to get over here. It’s a small unassuming place offering take-out sushi and sashimi and it’s awesome! For the quality, the prices here can’t be beat. All the fish was super fresh and the guy behind the counter clearly knew what he was doing. The rolls had just the right amount of rice. I’ll be back!
