Ruby’s Café in SoHo was a cute spot. The food was simple but really yummy and hit the spot. The staff was super friendly and made the vibe feel warm and easy. Also super affordable would reccomend
Me and my friends love Little Ruby’s and this was my first time at the SoHo location. While I definitely enjoy the larger space of some of the other locations, the food and service was on par as usual!! Special shout out to Eli the host, he was AMAZING and extremely accommodating. I would come back to the SoHo spot just for him :)
My friends and I had a reservation today at 8pm. We were not seated until at least after 8:10. The entire experience felt very rushed and they kicked us out at 8:58. This is ridiculous as we wanted to catch up and enjoy our dinner. Not a good place if you don’t want McDonald’s speed food to come out.
Edit: Management was very kind and reached out to make things right. This was much appreciated!
Had tea about an hour ago, fried chicken burger and shrimp and avocado salad. Food was great, waiter took one plate away before my partner had finished which should not happen and i think was because they had people waiting. Sooo hot where we were put in a corner by the window. The A/c did not reach our area so at 30 plus degrees it made the meal uncomfortable. When i asked the waiter was the a/c working we were then told this table did not get cooled by it. They should avoid this table in summer.. not the best when sweat drips from you whilst everyone else in the place is cool.
SO GOOD. Came here for breakfast & dinner and it is elite, great music, atmosphere and the food is chefs kiss! Not sure what they do to the avocado toast but it’s sooooo flavoursome and the pasta is delicious al denté how we like it and full of flavour. 10/10 the service was also good, waiters friendly and helpful
We come here fairly regularly for brunch and dinner. We waited ~20mins for a table for dinner, and it was great. The fried chicken sandwich was everything you could ask for, and the chicken avocado salad balanced it out perfectly. The avacado is rich and creamy and adds to the lightness of the salad. The popeyes smoothie was solid too.
For brunch I love the passionfruit yogurt bowl. Overall eating here feels so easy and healthy (even if if isn't, it still feels good).
Good Italian Sausage red sauce pasta! Grilled chicken was good. Portions are on the smaller side.
The food was amazing! I recommend reserving a table but the wait time was not too long either.
Overall a good experience! The seating was a little cramped. The food was really tasty, but it was pretty small portion sizes for the price. Drinks were delicious
The food was excellent, and we really enjoyed the service. However, the hostess made the experience frustrating from the start. It was very hot, and although I was ready to order for both of us, she refused to seat me and made me wait outside until my guest arrived. That felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Also, we were disappointed to see a 22% tip already applied to the bill without any mention or acknowledgment. Great meal, but the lack of basic courtesy and transparency was disappointing.
Restaurantji Recommends
It was nice outing with my Mom. Only thing I felt a little cramped for space. Very tight space ( tables in close proximity of each other) .
Good option if you're strolling around Soho. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly although we were a bit uncomfortable due to the ambience noise.
Little Ruby's was such a cute little restaurant with super nice staff! I got the chicken pasta and it was the best pasta I've had in my life, would highly recommend this delicious yet affordable place in soho!
Our first visit, but it will not be our last! It is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant with really good, healthy food.
Don't go there for dinner you will feel rushed and very badly received but the food is good, I think better for a lunch
