I have been a loyal customer of Ruby's Cafe for years, but I've noticed that the portion sizes have decreased and the food doesn't taste as it once did. For reference, I've attached 2 pictures from 2021 alongside a current one. I hope to see improvements in the future.

Live in the neighborhood and I've been here a few times but had a weird one tonight. On the menu, it lists unlimited sparkling water, $2. As someone who has replaced drinking alcohol with sparkling water, this sounds great! Ok, last time I was here, I asked for the sparkling water. They brought me a bottle of Saratoga, which costs more and is not unlimited. I didn't say anything that time, but the server didnt specify and neither did I so, OK I let it slide. This time I made sure to point to what I wanted to the server on the menu so it was clear. Server acted confused about this and pushed the cocktail specials. I said no thanks, we don't drink alcohol. A few minutes later a different server comes to the table with one sparkling water in a glass with a lime and a sprig of something, it looks amazing! I say yes great, but we ordered 2 (two of us at the table). The server acts confused, says OK and walks away with the sparkling water, not putting it down as expected. Me and my partner are confused and laughing to ourselves, a bit incredulous (customer service is so weird in nyc sometimes lol). A good while later, our main server comes back and says the sparkling water is no longer available but that we could purchase a bottle of Saratoga. I asked what he means by that when the other server had just come out with a glass and took it away. He says sorry, but again we could purchase a bottle of Saratoga. I tell him forget about it. Didn't see the server again until it was time for the check. Since this is the second time Little Ruby's has stiffed me on the sparkling water, I ask why keep it on the menu if your servers don't want to serve it? Are they irritated that I don't order alcohol? I know this might seem trivial, but why frustrate/lie to your customers to their face? I know it's pretty common for nyc restaurants to act weird to their customers, but c'mon a little service goes a long way and I probably won't come back because of this :/ (I know, they don't care lol and no, I don't have anything better to do than write this :)). Food was good.

I had no idea the franchise changed its name to Little Ruby’s. I haven’t been since the name was Ruby’s Cafe, but the Brontë Burger is still as delicious as I remember it to be. The spicy vodka pasta is also flavorful. I substituted the spaghetti for rigatoni and it was al denté af. It was also my lucky day because I didn’t have to wait for a table for two during dinner hours. Lalaloveit.

Sweet potato fries and Bronte are the best in New York haha.
It was a happy meal during a trip to New York where there was really nothing to eat. Cream pasta is a taste fun for me haha.
Good as expected. The food is awesome.

We have been coming to this location for several years but the service has become beyond disappointing. The server/manager with dyed red hair was extremely rude and yelled at us. Unacceptable, never coming back.

Honestly, if I had to pick some of the most delicious things I ate during my trip to New York, I couldn't leave out the shrimp pasta here...

Tasted good and cute vibes but definetely pricey
We came here without a reservation during the middle of the week for lunch and were able to get a table in 15 min. The interior is simple but enjoyable as you can look out to the street. Service was friendly and the food was fantastic. We got the grain bowl and burger here. The burger was solid and the sweet potato fries and aioli that came with it were tremendous. We ate every last bite of both of our plates and look forward to coming back and trying more of their items.
