Delicious, great value for money bagels. I got the cream cheese and lox bagel and my friend got an olive cream cheese bagel. The bagel itself had a great texture and was not over filled. It was cut up nicely which made it convenient to eat on the go. Highly recommended

One of the best bagels in Manhattan. Great salt level on the seasoning, dense bite with a great chew, like the briny lox, scallion cream cheese has some punch — a darn near perfect bagel.
Also tried the babka and it was a bit on the dry side but that life be because it was pre sliced.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for so long and finally found the time on my recent trip. The hype around this place is real and the line was out the door onto the street. I ordered a bagel with regular cream cheese and a black and white cookie. One of the best I’ve ever had! The crowd was a bit overwhelming so we decided to place our order online and sit outside and wait rather than stand in that line. There are maybe 2 benches outside, not actual tables to sit and eat, so be prepared to grab and go.

Don't sleep on the smoked fish! I always get a sandwich for the plane and time it perfectly. Nothing is better than a Russ and Daughters sandwich mid air with a nice iced coffee.

Had the sable on a pumpernickel bagel. The fish was fabulous, but the bagel itself was disappointingly hard and clearly seemed like it had been baked the previous day. Given the legendary status of this institution, I was surprised they’d be serving day-old bagels on a Saturday morning, when you’d reasonably expect everything to be fresh
Amazing! Great experience on vacation! Would highly recommend! Everything was great!

The lox here was good, but the bagel was not
When people bring up the best bagel & lox sandwich in NYC, this place comes up occasionally. However, having had it, when you only do half that
equation well, I don't think you can be in consideration
On the positive side, the smoked salmon was pretty appetizing. It tasted very fresh and had a great salt level. It did feel a bit thin in the context of the bagel, though,
like there wasn't that much of it. The cream cheese was fine, but nothing out-of-this-world.
The bagel was where I had a big problem. It was so chewy, so not-fresh, that it was not easy to eat. I could tell after my first bite that this was nothing like the other fresh bagels I've had in the city. It just tasted like it was baked a long time ago, and transported to the restaurant.
I had to give up on eating this as a sandwich and eventually had to eat it like an open-faced bagel on each half, because of how I just couldn't deal with having that much bad bagel in a single bite. It was just not good.
The other thing I've heard people say is the right thing is just to buy the smoked salmon from here, buy a bagel from somewhere else, and make your own DIY bagel & lox. After having this, I would recommend that as well.
It cost $18 - which is not terrible, and the portion size is pretty good, but I wouldn't call this a value either
Overall, it's some good lox mixed with a pretty bad bagel. 5/10

The most delicious NYC bagels ever. I really liked their smoked salmon and salmon roe bagel. They also have classic cream cheese bagels if you are not into fish. It’s a classic New York establishment, highly recommended.

Grab and go with fantastic bagels and all the trimmings. Order at the counter and take your breakfasty nomnomnoms to eat outside on the street, 'cause there's no seating. Or, pro tip: If you can wait, hoof it to the Elizabeth Street Garden and enjoy there. You bagel you, friend.
Got their classic bagel, it did not disappoint.
