This place is such a gem. I went with friends but it would also be a great first date spots with only 30 seats (plus another 8 at the bar) - started with the Kanom Jeeb Pak and Kanom Jeeb dumplings which were both delicious and my friends and I shared the rib eye which was unbelievably flavorful and cooked to perfection along with the pad thai (which they made veggie for my friend who doesn’t eat meat) and the pad see ew. The desserts can’t be missed (we tried all three) and the service was standout. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: They were able to adapt dishes to make them vegetarian and also had a number of veggie options

This was my first time going to a Thai restaurant and it was really good! We were 20 minutes late to our reservation but they were still able to take us. We got the ped yang (roasted duck in panang curry with roti) and the pork pad see ew. The duck was cooked perfectly--super tender inside and the skin was still very crispy despite sitting in the curry. That being said the curry did overpower the duck flavor a bit but if you just put a little less curry on the duck it was fine. The curry itself was very spicy and had a great flavor to it. The presentation was amazing. I just wish there was a vegetable or something as a palate cleanser. The pork pad see ew was super savory and had a strong soy sauce flavor which was great. Also, the waiter was extremely accommodating of my allergy to cashews and confirmed that it would be safe to eat there for me. There is a lot of peanut used in the restaurant so if you're allergic to that it may not be as safe (and the menu does not list the ingredients in each dish it just gives the name of the food). The vibe of the restaurant was pretty cool but it was definitely a little cramped. That's not really their fault though but keep that in mind if you have a larger group (more than 2 people).Dietary restrictions: They were super accommodating of my allergy to cashews

This place is amazing!! The ladies who own this place are super nice and were patient in explaining what they recommend as it was our first time here. Everything we got was delicious and authentic. They also gave us a free scoop of ice cream for my friend's birthday. We got the chicken wings, pad see ew (not pictured), ka prow ribeye and mango sticky rice. Will def be back!

Overall, really great experience here! The food was definitely pricey so I probably wouldn't be coming here super often (college student haha) but the food is definitely great quality and I liked it! The interior is very pretty and perfect for a slightly fancy date. We came around 1:20 pm on a Monday for lunch and it wasn't busy. - The thai iced tea is really good and the foamy milk part is so sweet and unique. - The appetizer we got, La Tiang, was pretty interesting and was good, but probably not something I'd get again (glad I tried it though!) - The lunch special rib eye with egg was super good! The meat was amazing and I loved the soup it came with. - The thai creme brulee was pretty good too - definitely something to be shared though since it can get too sweet for one person. The lady in charge was super sweet and explained every dish to us. We also originally ordered the ribeye with an upgrade to garlic fried rice (+$2) but it came out with white rice, and she apologized, changed the price back, and asked if we still wanted the garlic fried rice. We said it's okay, but she later gave us another thai iced tea on the house, which was super nice.

Awesome new gem with a short menu that puts out fabulous dishes! A small restaurant with tight tables but in a nice setting. The service was spot on and terrific drinks add to the experience.

I went to this Thai restaurant a good while ago as per most of my recent reviews. At that point, it hadn't been open for that long and they were going through an early cocktail menu. Also, I presume the prices were a little bit cheaper back then but I'll be using the current prices listed on their website. Anyway this is a small Thai spot with nice service. I believe the owner was our waitress if I recall correctly. The drink I had if I recall correctly had I believe a house aged gin (lemongrass very likely) and the only thing I remember about it which is why I think it was gin was that it had a nice herbal/floral flavor and it wasn't too sweet. We only ordered one appetizer which was the unique La Tiang. This consisted of sautéed shrimp and pork wrapped with egg nest and it was $15. It also came with a pickled cucumber sauce you commonly find with curry puffs. This dish had a pleasant texture with some plumpness and there's a little bit of sweetness to the dish even without the sauce. It was very tasty and I would order it again. While it is part of the main dishes, we also got the Kai Jiaw Pu or Crabmeat Omelets for $20 as an early dish. I've never been a huge fan of this dish but this was still pretty solid with the plump crab meat put on top also being a nice touch. It came with the usual sweet chili sauce and it was fine with a particularly good texture but it was a bit pricey for the size. My favorite of the main dishes was the Nua Yang Jaew which is listed as grilled rib eye north eastern style and it is $28. The ribeye is sliced and there was plenty of it with it being very tender. Jaew refers to the sauce on the side and contains among other things roasted rice powder, plenty of chili, and a variety of herbs. Places that offer this sauce do different versions of this and I liked theirs as it wasn't overly sweet and the chili was balanced. This was outstanding. Also ordered with ribeye was the Kra Prao for $30. Kra Prao is a spicy basil sauce and this was also excellent. I'm used to spots toning down the heat for this dish with this place did not and there was a good mix of sweetness and spiciness and of course plenty of holy basil which was cooked down long enough to munch on. The steak again was tender and tasty. Different but tasty was the Khao Soi Gai Tod listed as sautéed curry noodle and crispy chicken for $24. Most spots serve this as a soup but this place instead infuses the curry into the noodles themselves. The curry was well flavored and the noodles were tender. It came with the usual extras i.e. pickled mustard greens, fried noodles, and onions. Probably the weakest of the main dishes but still pretty good was the Ped Yang Roti or roasted duck Panang curry with flatbread. The duck had a good crisp and it was tender. I've had better Panang/Phaenang from other spots but this one was still pretty good with a good mix of sweet and spiciness. The bread/roti on the side was flaky but perhaps a bit oily for my liking. As we liked the food enough, we decided to order the Mango Sticky Rice for $13. The presentation was nicer than expected as they used blue butterfly pea flower to color the rice. There was a bit of coconut milk on top and the mango was pretty juicy. I've again had better versions but it's perfectly fine but they should probably make this dessert seasonal in case the mangoes aren't good enough. The ratings of this place are accurate. I'm surprised they're so few reviews at this point though this is probably because they're between 1st and 2nd instead of 2nd and 3rd. Mid 4 for the very consistent proteins and excellent sauces.

Rynn is a gorgeous Thai restaurant that opened not too long ago in the East Village. I loved the Thai paintings on the wall and the teal color scheme. While it is a tiny restaurant, it made for a cozy celebratory lunch with my group of girls. We ordered the La Tiang, which is an appetizer of egg wrapped pockets of shrimp and pork. These were exploding with flavor! For my main dish, I ordered the crab fried rice. I thought it was done well, with its big chunks of crab meat, and chili pepper sauce to add a kick of spice. Portions were fair and food was great. While this isn't my favorite Thai food in the city, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rynn to a friend!

The crab fried rice was simple and average, but the La Tiang appetizer was very yummy! The duck and roti curry dish was super unique and creative, and the curry almost felt like there was Indian kick to it. The roti was super oily, but super flaky. The duck meat pieces were perfectly crispy and soft at the same time. Loved the concept of that dish. The mango sticky rice dessert was average and a little lacking in flavor - could have been better. All the dishes were pretty small in size. The waiters were constantly filling our waters which was nice. The restaurant itself is small, but cute and vibey. There's also only one restroom.

Small intimate space that is beautifully decorated. Servers are very attentive and helpful, so I assumed the 20% gratuity was included because we were a party of 8. My crab fried rice was flavorful and full of crab, I wish I had more! Friends ordered various dishes and all seemed pleased. Fiancée enjoyed two Thai ice teas and the chocolate shavings are a nice touch. If we split the bill evenly it was about $50 a person but we tried to modify and no one seemed upset paying what they owed for the more expensive dishes and drinks. Nice to have steak for $28! Would recommend this place and come back!

The good: Excellent service and beautifully decorated interior. I came with a large group on a Saturday, but my friend made a reservation ahead of time (highly recommend as there's not a lot of seating inside). The food was very good and had a pleasant kick. The steak was well seasoned, loved the spices and basil that was used. The rice was fluffy and super fresh. My bf said his duck curry dish was excellent and the roti was the highlight of the meal - crispy and delicate. My friends also said that their food was great. The not so good: I'm docking one star because the automatic tip that was added was applied to the total (after tax) instead of the subtotal, the toilet wasn't working, and I and some others were still hungry after finishing our entrees. I would recommend ordering appetizers as the portions aren't large. I still highly recommend paying a visit though. 4/5

The place was very cute will say it's very small. Service was good until they started rushing us to leave. The Thai tea were great would recommend. Duck curry was very good would get again and the noodles were okay. Would say portions aren't super big
