I came here last night and I waited 30 minutes for the rude Spanish guy behind the deli to make my order and had me repeat it 3x and was creating other people's food before mine. Then when I got back to my place. I realized they didnt compete my order! Im upset! What a complete water out time and money.

Over there was an actual bagel lettuce and tomato and it was considered Mexican tuna fish which it was on an actual into a platter that came with potato chips and a bottle of water there were also giving us also a coffee small regular milk and will I go back to the next time yes and do they have excellent service yes they do they have extremely excellent service

We stayed around the corner from this deli during a week long trip to NYC and it became our home away from home. Friendly kind staff, excellent salads and drink, wide range of groceries, and an adorable resident cat!

I have never had a more incompetent experience at a NYC deli before. I ordered tuna, on a roll, with JUST lettuce, cheddar and chipotle mayo. A very simple and ordinary deli sandwich. As the guy was making it he asked me if I wanted lettuce and tomato on it. I said "no tomato just cheddar and lettuce" The first attempt he gives the sandwich with tuna and just avocado. I said nope just tuna, lettuce and cheddar. He does it again and it ONLY has tomato on it. Now i am getting angry and clearly say again Tuna, on a roll, with lettuce, cheddar and chipotle mayo. I get down the street to my job, open it and there is no tuna on the sandwich! I paid 19.03 for a small box of cheez its and this sandwich. So I went back and just asked for my money back for the sandwich and I would go somewhere else. The woman gave me 8$ back. Making the cheez its 11$???! So they also stole money from me but I was too angry to even bother. Oh and also the bodega cat was licking the bananas. The place sucks.
I had finished work the other day and I was in the mood for a sandwich. I stopped around the corner at S & A Gourmet and was in the mood for their Chicken Corden Bleu sandwich that I had had once before. They must have had a new guy working because he put lettuce and tomato on it. No big deal as it added to the flavor of the sandwich. It was delicious and very over-sized. They really packed in the meats and vegetables on the sandwich. They put two large chicken cutlets on the sandwich and topped it with ham and Swiss cheese and honey mustard. I could barely finish the sandwich is was so big. They toasted the roll and tucked everything in and it made a really nice lunch. The service was quick and very friendly. They are also very reasonable.

People who have lived in NYC their whole lives know the culture of delis here. You get to know your deli and your deli will get to know you and take good care of you. One of my favorite lunch spots as I work near by super tasty, affordable salads and the staff always smile and joke with me and are patient with me on my sleepy days.

This deli is probably the cleanest in New York City-just make certain to ask questions and exactly how you want your meal sandwich etc.-it’s cheaper to pay cash then to use your card— beverages run on the higher side a price-also it’s open 24 hours!!

If the workers actually pay attention to what you order, This store would get 5 starts from everyone. The second time my order was guessed smh. The only Store that would give you a whole wheat toast uncut with NO butter.
