Food was good 👍
I considered these signs as low quality service:
- Making customers with reservations wait at the entrance until the whole party arrives.
- Including tip in the bill and then asking for another tip when paying.

Authentic Thai cuisine & chef’s specialties were delish. Cocktails were well mixed & not watered down.
Great ambience
High chairs & small tables with large serving dishes made it very uncomfortable to eat for 4 of us.
Our server was excellent but she was alone attending many tables so we had to wait to get her attention while the beautiful lady offering the menus wasn’t attentive to us waving at all on several occasions.
Worth going to appease your cravings.
Make a booking.
🐓 Gin martinis & Mezcal Margaritas perfectly blended
We ordered the Chef Specials salmon excellent
Chicken Satay - Generous & tasty
Chicken Pad Thai authentic
Vegan -
Tofu Satay- Great
Veg Coconut curry Generous & delish
Each came with a generous medium size bowl of steamed rice (which was far too much)
Mixed stir fried veg lip smacking

The ambiance and decor is well done and beautiful. The food, however, was disappointing. If you're reading this review, go some place else. I ignored the reviews that shared their disappointment and regretted it. Food was tasteless and flavorless. The tofu was chewy and weird. Service was slow, but the restaurant was busy so... We were really excited to get dinner here, but left disappointed. Plenty of delicious Thai food in the city elsewhere.

Ample of Vegan choices. Drinks are on the sweeter side.
Don’t believe the 5 star reviews - really not sure why/how those came about unless they were written by people who lack taste and standards. This restaurant is truly a joke. First of all, this flavorless & unseasoned pad Thai was $29. $29 for bland chicken, and the pad Thai wasn’t even spicy. The high price is really just to maintain the aesthetics & brand of the restaurant, it seems. Secondly, it is so loud in there. You can’t hold a conversation here without screaming at the person across from you. Save your money and get some better Thai food elsewhere.

Lamb was tasty with a well made coconut sauce. Service was good. If you like very spicy you will not find all the traditional side sauces you would expect (i.e: spicy fish sauce). Fried cream was also good. The restaurant is a bit loud but acceptable.

Pictures: Massaman Beef + Pad Thai. Amazing flavour, very good food. Also had Panang but snap a picture - good portion size on the Panang, could do 2 people with rice added.

Grabbed some lunch here. We went for the lunch set menu. The basil fried rice was lovely. The restaurant was empty so a peaceful lunch was very calming. Not sure if peace during lunch times helps their business though.
The salad was just about ok. The mocktails section could have more options.
Overall Sabai Thai did not disappoint and I must say it was an absolute value for the money.

I’ve come here many times with my partner and it’s usually one of our favorite spots. The food is consistently great (the chuchi shrimp is a standout), and the Sawaro cocktail is a must-try. Service has always been solid, which is why I chose to bring my mom here to celebrate the news of my engagement.
Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark. The food felt rushed, and before we were even halfway through our appetizers, a server asked my mom to move food from one plate to another so they could clear space for the mains. It made what should’ve been a special, relaxed moment feel rushed and awkward. The restaurant was nearly empty for a Saturday night, so there was no reason for the pressure.
I’ve recommended this place to others before, but this experience left me second-guessing whether I’ll be back.
