Perfect pre-theater dinner. Serene atmosphere and a beautifully presented, delicious dinner!
I had the pineapple fried rice and found the flavor, size of the dish, and presentation to be excellent. The dish was served inside a pineapple, which was beautiful and added to the pineapple flavor. The same was true of the mango sticky rice I had for dessert. Delicious and beautifully presented. I sat at the bar and felt that I had plenty of space, the seat was comfortable, and my server and bartender were both attentive and quick to bring the items I ordered. I would eat here again and would strongly recommend it to anyone who likes Thai food.
Fantastic food and excellent service would recommend and will be back on next visit to NYC
Le bar en particulier contribue à favoriser un cadre chaleureux. Le personnel est très sympathique. La carte est assez variée et les plats choisis vraiment très bons.
Overall good food, great service and ambiance. Not the best Thai food I've ever had but pretty good.
Veggie dumplings were not good. The rest of our meal and drinks were just fine. Not a great value. Felt quite touristy .
Sabai Thai in NYC is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is cozy, with elegant decor that transports you straight to Thailand. The menu is impeccable, offering authentic dishes with fresh ingredients. The Pad Thai and the Chicken Dumplings were standouts, perfectly balancing bold and delicate flavors. The service was attentive and prompt. An authentic and unforgettable dining experience. A solid 10/10!

We came as a party of 10 people to celebrate a birthday on Christmas Day. The service was slow and chaotic even though there were only 3-4 other tables filled. It seemed as if the waiters just did not want to be there. The food was okay. It is probably tough to keep a restaurant open on Christmas, but if this is how the service is going to be, it is probably better to remain closed.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I can confidently say it was the best Thai food I’ve ever tasted, I started with the coconut soup and the papaya salad and they were OMG!!! The best ones I have ever tried!! The the crispy duck that was really really good and the Khao Soi that was good.
The atmosphere added to the overall experience it was warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated with traditional Thai accents that made the space feel both cozy and unique. The staff was friendly and attentive, enhancing the welcoming vibe. If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience with mouthwatering Thai cuisine and a great ambiance, Sabai Thai should be at the top of your list!

Great night at this cozy restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the coconut soup and papaya salad to start, then as main dishes the crispy duck and khao soi… wow!! All perfect! Highly recommend

I have a special devotion for Thai food, especially for its use of coconut, peanuts, mango and papaya in its dishes, although I am not so tolerant of spicy food but this opportunity was exactly right! Nice and simple place, the waiters help you a lot with the decision if you are not familiar with Thai food, we went for the classic, Green papaya salad (which was a spectacle) and the PadThai that you should try sometime in your life .

Didn’t mention that they charge 9 dollars for water… never in my life has a Thai food spot surprise charged me for water bro. The dish was 8/10
Would have been better if the bamboo shoot didn’t taste horse poo from the Central Park zoo
Just for charging Bottled water for 9 dollars and not communicating that before I see the menu you’ll never see me come back here
