The staff was warm and gracious. I let them know in advance that I was bringing in a Birthday girl (19)! The had a birthday card signed by the team ( everyone wrote a special message)waiting at the table for her. That was so thoughtful. Made her first dinning experience in NYC memorable!
Sabai Thai never disappoints! I’ve visited this restaurant 3–4 times already, and it consistently ranks as one of my top Thai spots in NYC. The food is always packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. The Pineapple Fried Rice is a standout — perfectly balanced, fragrant, and so comforting. The Red Curry is rich, creamy, and has just the right amount of heat.
The ambiance is warm, cozy, and inviting, making it perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and they truly go the extra mile — on my birthday, they even surprised me with complimentary mochi ice cream, which made the night feel even more special.
If you’re looking for delicious Thai food with amazing service and a great atmosphere, Sabai Thai is an absolute must-visit!

The food at Sabai Thai was very good. I had the green chicken curry. The hostess was very helpful with recommendations. I would recommend this restaurant.
Really expensive food for really small portion sizes. Asked for the drunken noodles and got it with more vegetables than protein and noodles. But the service and atmosphere is so good

Restaurant handled a large group efficiently (7 adults) for dinner on a Sunday. Food was very good and service was very good. Curry dishes were good and all appetizers worked.
Expensive for Thai food. Chicken dumplings were quite bad. Drunken noodles were fine, crab rice was pretty good and the mango rice dessert was transcendent.

Service is good though!

Love both the food and atmosphere at Sabai Thai. We ate duck, crispy chicken dumplings, shrimp and all were well seasoned. You can decide how hot you want any dish with the chili logo. They even offer both white and brown rice. Very courteous staff and all other diners were enjoying their meals and attentive service as well.

Excellent Thai restaurant! 🍜 Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The Tom Yum was rich and spicy, and the Pad Thai was spot-on. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and fair prices. Definitely coming back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went for my birthday dinner. Staff was very accommodating and kind. The food came out quickly! We had appetizers, main courses, and desserts. I appreciated how well-timed it all was, the server had the kitchen prepare the dishes at perfect intervals and they were placed correctly. Very efficient service (even on a busy Saturday night!) and we did not feel rushed at all. The food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere warm and inviting. A nice touch: the staff had signed a birthday card for me, which was left at the table, and they sang me happy birthday. Overall a very pleasant experience and highly recommend! No complaints and will happily be returning!
Authentic Thai food in the city. Food all tasted good and was presented well. Slightly on the expensive side but give the place a try
