Overall, good bagels/brunch spot. This is firstly a shop to buy fish. Their sliced Nova was incredible, and easily the best I’ve had in New York on a bagel. Thinly sliced and extremely fresh. Bagel was on the better end, chewy, though have had better bagels and spread elsewhere. I also was not a fan of $1 to add one of lettuce/onion/tomato, so $3 for all, though the price was otherwise roughly on market for what I got if not higher value. Atmosphere was average, not a lot of room to move around. Service was also average. Overall, 4 stars from me for the stand out smoked salmon.

Worst bagel I ever had. Not fresh and after asking them twice if they can toast it, I got a cold and old hard bagel, very disappointed. I do not recommend if you are looking for an Excellent NYC bagel experience. You should try your own bagels before selling this stuff.

The most incredible smoked fish, shrimp salad and lobster salad on the planet. It’s always a pleasure to go there. The staff greets me so warmly and they slice the fish so beautifully. Sable’s is one of the reasons that I never want to leave New York.
