My experience at this small Mexican restaurant was not very pleasant due to the service we received from the waitress. Although I have to admit that the food is very good, and we left a tip for the excellent chefs. The food is delicious. But the service provided by the waitress leaves much to be desired. She didn't even offer us the chips and salsa sample. She gave us because we order it, but she definitely gave it to the other customers sitting at the next table. In my opinion, I think she should be more empathetic with customers and treat everyone equally.

By far the very best Mexican restaurant on the UES - and there are a lot of them. Food is truly excellent. Love the staff. And, while the restaurant is pretty small, if you want a non-noisy, calm place for dinner, it can’t be beat. Would give it 6 stars if possible.

This is my favorite place on the upper east side. The food is great and fresh, the drinks are strong and good! This restaurant is owned and operated by a family of professionals that put service first and set a standard for dining on the UES. Amazing! The staff was incredible and the food was great. Came in for cinco de Mayo. The frozen margarita is so good. I really enjoyed the chicken and Birria enchiladas. Will definitely be going back. Amazing staff

I ordered an steak burrito and it was mostly rice and beans and barely any meat. It was overpriced for the quality of the food, I think Taco Bell burritos have more meat. In summary the service was good but food not so much.
