This place perfectly tows the line between Hamptons chic, marine royal blues, and coastal mom hosting a family dinner, you will understand as soon as you step foot inside and are greeted with a smile.
The service is fantastic, a big part of what makes this place so comfortable.
The food - some of the freshest oysters I’ve ever had the pleasure to have, my taste buds were experiencing seafood royalty and everything felt right. Highly recommend experimenting with a few condiments; I tried a duo of rose vinaigrette and the cocktail sauce, wow!!! Absolutely divine. But honestly, even just a spritz of lemon would be more than sufficient. Truly a luxurious experience with these oysters!
Also strongly recommend the calamari, with small pieces of jalapeño mischievously tucked into the dish. Finally, strongly recommend the Chili Lobster Roll. The bun itself was plush and buttery, and the lobster was perfect. We got Parmesan fries on the side. Let me say, as much as I love sharing, I kind of got possessive over these fries.
Great food, comfy atmosphere, prompt and thoughtful service. If the world is your oyster, start here.

I don’t even know where to begin! We LOVE Sagaponack - the oyster happy hour is unbeatable. What really made this our favorite was the people: Ashley, Leo, and Naija were wonderful and helped us feel right at home. They went above and beyond, giving us recommendations, checking on us, and making sure we had the best time. The food was delicious, it was well balanced and polished. Our happy place for sure

The chili topped oyster was the best thing we had. Fluke tartare was great consistency and went amazing with the coconut milk broth all mixed together. My lobster roll entree was very underwhelming, especially for the price.

Great oyster dishes but the menu is too small to call this place a tapas restaurant. It’s more of a gastropub with cocktails and wine.

Stopped in for Happy Hour on a Friday evening and had 6 oysters, the Parmesan fries and some wine. Prices were fantastic and atmosphere was great. A wonderful playlist in the background.

A must stop for a great happy hour!

The oysters were fantastic and a great happy hour deal. Loved the lobster rolls as well. Didn’t care for the waygu burger. Everything else was great.

My friend and I stopped in for the first time today to sample Sagaponack’s restaurant week lunch menu and standard $1 happy hour oysters. We were so happy we did. Not only was the staff thoughtful and accommodating, but they also shared a bit about the history of the restaurant and how they source their fresh seafood. The happy hour Wellfleet oysters were super fresh and paired perfectly with rosé vinaigrette. I ordered the spicy gambas al ajillo and mussels; my friend got the gazpacho and crab roll. All dishes were delicious, balanced, and served at ideal temperatures. We finished the meal with a beautiful matcha panna cotta dessert and left full of food and joy. With a prime location on a quiet street between Nomad and Flatiron, we were both surprised that this was our first time at Sagaponack. But, thanks to their generous portions, great hospitality, and unbeatable happy hour oysters, it definitely won’t be our last. Many thanks to Liz for a seamless experience!

My partner and I have visited Sagaponack a whopping 3 times in the past month because it is simply that good. Excellent ambiance, exceptional service (shoutout to Emily), and seriously incredible food. The chef creates colorful, artfully plated dishes that are best described as balanced — balanced in sweetness, acidity, salt, fat and also balanced in texture.

You have to get the fluke tartare, the arugula salad, and the matcha panna cotta (when it’s available).

We’ll surely be back to try more menu items :)

Sagaponack's happy hour is one of the best deals in NYC: $1 oysters (which are very fresh), $5 beer/wine, and $9 cocktails. Lychee spritz was perfect for a hot day, and fluke tartare and calamari were so delicious as well. Service was attentive and friendly.
