Went here for the vegan banh mi. The guy running the counter and everything was very nice and place has no dining, so everything is take out. It is also CASH ONLY, although they do have an ATM machine inside. A little disappointed w/ the sandwich overall. He asked if I wanted mayo. Odd...considering you offer a vegan option but ask about mayo. At a minimum, offer vegan mayo as they are widely available now. The tofu just didn't "hit" like I thought they would. They were not as firm and so became somewhat soggy which changes the texture of the overall sandwich. It was okay, just not a great choice overall.

I really hope this was a one off. Because this place seems to beloved and exactly what I look for. But the bahi me was alright definitely had much better id give it a 4/5 but I got really bad food poisoning. It was pretty obvious the sandwich wasn't made to order, I got the house special along with a few other folks, just hoping this isn't a trend.

My favorite bahn mi in NYC. What really brings it home is the bread. But it’s also things other places miss; like the pickled veg, lemongrass, and hollandaise.Don’t forget the coffee!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian chicken option as well as a vegan option.

Such a good sandwich, hands down the best bahn mi I've had ever.
i came across them on instagram and am glad i went! got the minced pork banh mi and veggie chicken banh mi. my husband is vegetarian so it's always wonderful when banh mi places have veggie options!so well priced at about $10 per sandwich. the bread has a perfect crunch and the pickled veggies are crispy. will definitely be back.

Hole in the wall, cash only, mom n pop shop, ordered + paid in store and got my food within 3 minutes. $9.75 for the #5 Pâté supreme bahn mi - it was loaded and easily makes for 2 meals. While they no longer sell summer rolls, I was pleased to see that they sold Nem Chua (cured fermented pork) definitely will be back for more :-)
