Saiguette has a really excellent Banh Mi. The lemongrass pork shoulder is my absolute favorite, the spicy creamy sauce is delicious and the pork is juicy. The veggies inside are generously portioned and the bread is crispy and soft. I probably eat it once a week and its genuinely almost a perfect sandwich.

Unfortunately, my take out order was not as I remember from the past. Spent $80.00 and only the shrimp dumplings, ribs and pork sandwich was decent. The noodle soup (beef) broth with vegetables had No taste. Not sure what type of meat I received, but I ordered beef which was tough and not edible The veggies needed to be cooked as it seemed as if they were just thrown on top of the broth. The salmon, not fresh and very dry with vegetables (came with white rice). I should have...

i’ve been picking up from saiguette weekly for about a year now. i have their contact saved in my phone. when i get married i want saiguette to cater my wedding. saiguette must exist for at least as long as im alive.

you can’t go wrong, everything on the menu is great. but the banh mi has to be the best in new york.
