My friends and I go here regularly and sit at the bar to eat and drink or I will bring my kids and sit in the main dining area. I have been going there for over 14 yeats. It is one of my go to places in NYC. They have a wide variety in their menu so they offer something for everyone from basic rolls and sashimi, ramen, skewers, and sushi and rice bowls. There are many additional items on the menu and I have tried nearly everything over the years and nearly everything is tasty....
My best friends are regulars here and I just tag along. Great service and super comfortable vibes, very mood lighting. Shoutout to the Bartender/Host Marie! Lovely lady always with high good energy!
Food and drinks were great! We ordered the skewers, beef tongue curry, some sushi, the fried chicken, ramen and a bunch of highballs. I heard it’s been under new management and things have only gotten better.

The consistency travels well considering I’ve been coming here since the 90’s when Hagi was underground on 49th Street! Three locations later and the kitchen still knocks out fabulous dishes consistently!!! Always great service and a great sake pour 😂🙏🏽 This perfect pre-theatre spot has NEVER disappointed me. Thank you, Hagi Sake Bar!
