Wow wow and wow! I need to bring everyone I know to try this place. Every team member is cordial and pleasant. Servers pay attention and the food satisfies. The kitchen delivers genuine dishes while servers are attentive. The restaurant earns more than maximum stars.

Great Syrian food with cozy ottoman style interior. The pita was super fresh and good that we all ate one without the food and appetizers! The vegetable curry had a unique taste with a nice ginger kick and lots of veggies. The couscous was also great with flavorful gravy. The staff worked there for 28 years which was incredible!

I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid. It’s a warm and cozy neighborhood spot that has weathered the years and remains my ultimate standard for middle eastern cuisine. Basam and his wife are true sweethearts and have invested their entire lives into this restaurant. There’s a soulfulness to the food and atmosphere that is only earned with time and love, both of which they have in spades.
Now the food: my absolute favorite is actually the Knaffi (dessert). Second is the lamb Ouzi, the hummus is killer and the babaganoush is smoky and creamy to perfection. Dolmas rock the house as well as the chicken curry.

Solid overall. Not bad but nothing to write home about. Not everything was super flavorful but some stuff was quite nice. Some cool ambience.

We had such high hopes but this was absolutely horrible. Probably the worst restaurant I’ve ever been too.
Service is hilariously bad. Food is atrocious. I genuinely cannot think of a single person I hate enough to send here.
As someone who grew up in Syria, I can tell you whoever is preparing this “Syrian food” cannot locate the country on a map.
Please, for the love of god, do not go here.

This is quite simply one of NYC’s hidden gems. The atmosphere is elegantly laid back; the food exquisitely prepared (the lamb cous cous bowled me over; my wife loved the salmon kebab). Drinks are 2005 prices (say hello to the pomegranite martini) and the prices are very reasonable. Love this place.
Food was good however tabbouleh was more like couscous. It was entirely empty except from one other person however the server ignored the table and was short with their answers
