It’s insane to me how in NYC where every trash place has more than 4.5 rating, this gem has only 4.4. Cozy atmosphere in the winter, nice outdoor in summer, clean, GREAT food and most importantly tasty coffee. Especially in this area where options are limited, Salento really hits the spot. Only criticism, it is more expensive than what I would prefer

Love the food here BUT today they handed me the wrong order ( gave me the wrong pastry) when I checked and corrected the lady at the register, she exchange it ( which I appreciate) but put the wrong one back in the shelf with the rest. Im all against not wasting food but how does she know I didn’t put my hands on it? Please be more mindful with the way food is handled.

Just purchased croissant with bacon, egg and cheese.It is EXCELLENT! They toasted the croissant (unexpected), the bacon is mixed in with the eggs, not just placed on top, and the cheese is gooey and plentiful! Only improvement would be the addition of pepper. I will be back.
