As a Lebanese living in New York for the past 15 years, I am well-versed in my country's cuisine and can discern authenticity. However, the food at Salma is truly exceptional; it's unlike anything I've experienced in this city. The quality, flavor, taste, and presentation are all top-notch. I felt transported to one of the beautiful villages in Lebanon with every bite. Bravo, Salma.

The restaurant is relatively small so without waving your hand, a simple eye contact is enough for the waiter to come to you and help you in the most generous way. It can get busy diner time, especially on the weekends so I do recommend a reservation. Make sure not to miss their fat touch salad and Kenafeh desert

Came on a Monday with a reservation, which was great because it got pretty busy. Delicious food, everything from the drinks to starters to platters was fantastic! Really nice service, great vibes, can't wait to come again!

Lovely little restaurant. Cute interior with vaulted brick ceiling. Food really good - and not too salty as is often the case in restaurants. Nice and fresh, could tell it was made with quality ingredients. Staff friendly. Do wish they'd add coffee to the menu - but the tea is delicious.

Been here a few times and it never disappoints. We shared everything with foul, mutabal and a kebab platter. The owner was super accommodating, switching our lamb to beef because someone couldn't eat lamb. Everything came out perfectly seasoned and the meat were tender. I also recommend getting their tea, they use really good lose leaf tea in a big tea pot, perfect for sharing! I personally recommend getting a pot of black tea and another pot of mint and mix them together!
Severe food poisoning after dining here and there were flies all over our food and table. My partner reached out to management and they never responded. I’m not sure how they run a business like this, disappointingly. If management sees this and responds, please provide your email.
