A very lovely meal, served promptly. Highly recommend coming here for brunch, which is when I went.
Stopped by Salumeria Rosi for coffee and desserts with the girls, and we had such a lovely time. The ambiance was charming, and everything we tried was great! We had the Torta di Ricotta cheesecake, tiramisu and the pistachio panna cotta—all of them were delicious. The coffee was also really good, and I loved the little cookie they served on the side—a nice touch!
Oh, and I have to mention… I was unexpectedly impressed by the sink in the restroom, haha! Definitely planning to come back for a full meal next time.

I’m updating my review.
In April 2023, I came to this restaurant with my husband. We ordered carbonara, carpaccio, and a few other dishes, they were delicious! The carbonara was actually the best we had ever eaten in the US It was creamy and flavorful
So, we decided to come back for the carbonara again, but we were disappointed and there’s nothing worse than paying for bad food
The appetizers were good, but I wouldn’t order them again. I think the carpaccio needs salt and lemon. I’m a sous chef, and I make carpaccio all the time… The one I had the first time was well-seasoned and flavorful.
Maybe the restaurant has new cooks. I’m not sure what happened, but I noticed the food tastes different now.
The carbonara was dry, thick, and needed salt. My husband ate it all because he was hungry.
The rigatoni, the pasta wasn’t cooked properly, it was raw and hard. The sauce was way too acidic, and I couldn’t taste any meat. I couldn’t even finish it.
The service was great, the waiters were friendly and very attentive. Unfortunately, the pasta dishes really let us down.

Love to dine here when I'm in the city. The food is first-rate, always delicious and well plated. Service is also always on-point. On this occasion I arrived 30 mins. early for my res (was in the area) and the maî·tre d was able to sort out his dining room to accommodate me. This kind of attention to their guests is just another reason to visit. If you want to go - make your res sooner than later. It's tiny but mighty!
Delicious clam sauce over the best perfectly cooked spaghetti is.my fav alongside a superb glass of brachetto served by a lively responsive waiter. Great evening!

We order some fried artichokes and an appetizer of sliced meat and mozzarella, then two first courses. The artichokes arrive then instead of the cold cuts, the first courses arrive and so we send them back. After the appetizer the first courses arrive, but they are wrong, and so we wait for my pasta. very simple with tomato full of pepper...boo....then the rest everything ok....very high bill, we arrive to pay they don't take the ATM... which is absurd, cash or credit card, this thing surprised us... I find it absurd that with all the foreigners who pass through there they have to have cash or a credit card

We have been here a few times and the food is always delicious, pasta dishes are very good. The staff is friendly and quick.
Our food was delicious and our waiter attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant .
As the NYC marathon finished yesterday, me my girlfriend and our friend who ran in the marathon celebrated her completion by coming here. We had 2 rounds of drinks and an app (burrata (very small portion) and through out our drinks were asked by 3 different waiters if we wanted anything else then finally they brought us the check when we didn’t for it. Felt very pressured to leave because we didn’t order entrees. Very disgusting behavior for a restaurant/owner. Will never return

Tight restaurant. Another one of those paces is in our city where going to and out of the table needs to be done with extreme caution. The food was good. Excellent flavors. Service was ok. One of our appetizers came in after we were done with our main courses. There was no we are sorry or do you still want it ? Eat it! Pricey and small portions. The large option would be the normal portion at many other places.

we had a good time the food was good. The restaurant is to cramped. I will go back just not on the top of my list. Very convenient when seeing a show at the Beacon theater.
Salumeria Rosi has a nice selection of small and large plate dishes that quite tasty. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. We had a very enjoyable dinner.

We came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday dinner, and the night was fantastic!
The food was amazing, the wine perfect, and Glenn, as our waiter, was the star of the night.
We had some of the best service and it was a wonderful evening overall. Would highly recommend! God bless Glenn!!

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Salumeria Rosi in Upper West Side, NYC. Focusing on classic Italian dishes and various Italian cured meats. We had a blast enjoying all these specialties. This is also located not far from some Central Park highlights.
