The truffle mushroom rice pot, as well as mandu (dumplings), are crowdpleasers.
I also tried the seafood rice pot, which I enjoyed, but not as much as the mushroom which was so much more vibrant.
The egg soufflé was fine, just on the simple side compared to everything else on the menu.
The restaurant filled every table on a Friday night. Even at capacity, it wasn’t too loud to have a normal conversation. Service was friendly.
Delicious, filling, and hit the spot. Food paired perfectly with the IPA. Kind and friendly staff checked in regularly and were very accommodating to our request for extra kimchi 😋

Great gem in the neighborhood. Delicious food.Go here all the time. Drinks are pretty good depending on the bartender. They changed the menu and added more dishes which i was hoping they would. Highly recommended.

We spent a week in NY and I’m an Asian food fanatic so we had to give this place a try,it was highly rated so why not.The food was top notch, the menu is not false advertising at all, everything comes out and looks exactly as seen in the menu, which I loved.Everything tasted so delicious.Spice levels where perfect, sweet levels were on point, salt levels where just right, those people know exactly what they are doing,if it where up to me I would have ordered everything on the menu, but we ended up getting what we knew we could handle. The server doesn’t write things down so he forgot our kimchi pancakes and we realized it ,but also didn’t wanna make a big fuss, since he was the only one working there,he was serving and bartending, which was impressive.Even though we didn’t order any custom cocktails, everything looked so good.

Hidden gem for Korean food on the east side! We came here for a late lunch on Sunday and were surprised the lunch menu was available on a weekend! They have delicious kimchi (on the fresher side and not super garlicky) and we got a beef bulgogi set that came with a steamed egg. It was delicious and the portions were generous. We also got rice cakes and pork belly which were good as well but the bulgogi set was the highlight.

Good vibes but extremely mid food, they were really showy with presentation but the taste didn't match up.
Kimchi pancake was pretty good, curry chicken noodles were extremely overspiced and only tasted like curry powder, kinda like a bad japchae. Kimchi fried rice didn't have much flavor and the katsu was pretty thin and dry, pork belly was pretty good.

Love this place. Great classic Korean dishes, done well, with frills. Love the unlimited banchan and the servers were great about refilling. Usually not a packed place but on busier nights the atmosphere is great. Everything we ordered was great - the galbi mandu and kimchi shrimp pancake were great starters. The spicy chicken galbi was exactly what you expected and same with the kimchi fried rice with chicken katsu. Kinda feels like home cooking but dressed up in the best ways. Portion sizes were great, quality was good, servers were do friendly, and drinks menu was diverse. Would recommend!
