Decent place, but it looks like it has had better days. The menu was crossed out in many areas and the prices changed at least twice.I got the banh mi (sp) for $8. It was the pork loaf stuff. No jalapeno or much sauce. It was decent. The woman behind the counter was nice.Prices looked OK, but I am not sure how much you would get on a roll vs a hero.

Wow. A big difference for Chinatown. This hole in the corner serves good heros, various wraps , hibiscus drinks, cold fridge for drinks, basic lunch snacks, excellent and comfortable lunch spot. Very good customer service. Always aim to please. They deserve this 5 star.

The hours on Google are not correct. I went there at 940am on a Saturday only to have the staff person wave at me from behind the locked door

No frills and all good food and service. Definitely a neighborhood gem. Breakfast sandwiches are a great deal.

So good, I stumbled across Sams, literally. I was headed to a traditional Asian restaurant in the area that was cash only and I was low on cash. I remember walking past Sams so I walked back and was so happy I did. I got the Turkey sub with salami, it was delicious. I also order chips and they had an UTZ brand chip mix with Cheetos and Doritos style chips, that mix was great, I wish I had bought more. Overall had a good experience there and the wait staff was so nice and quick.

Bagel w butter and iced coffee is my usual. All the basic deli/diner necessities can be found here. Good neighborhood spot, no fuss. Good food. Cash only as of this posting.

At this location Hing Tai makes hand made paper items - The Chinese believe that by burning these items their loved ones will receive them in the afterlife. There is no limit - you can do this when you visit grave, birthdays, holidays - anything you think your loved one needs - you can purchase and send to them! I love this idea!!! (many funeral homes & services on this street)
