Side dishes are nice and seafood pancake is very good but Bulgogi is too sweet. However, i appreciate their kind service and free new dessert sample.

Honest review - it was tasty and cozy inside. The accompaniments were great. But the bulgogi was overpriced. It’s was great, but I’ve had the same for $15
Authentic and tasty! 😋

Food is the BEST. I love the tripe soup a lot, the rice wine, and the bulgogi. They provided some cold dishes like kimchi in the beginning which also tastes amazing. I love this place so much and the owner (I think) is super nice and friendly.

The best Korean food abroad. Really liked Bulgogi. Better than Seoul. 5 stars.

I had a fantastic experience at Sam Woo Jung.
The Seoul Bulgogi was absolutely delicious — perfectly seasoned, tender, and incredibly flavorful. The portion size was also very generous, making it both satisfying and great value.
What really stood out was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming without being intrusive. Everything came out promptly, and we felt well taken care of throughout the meal.
The atmosphere deserves special mention as well. The restaurant has a warm, comfortable, and classy vibe that makes it ideal for a relaxed dinner, whether you’re dining with family, friends, or guests from out of town.
Overall, Sam Woo Jung delivers on food quality, portion size, service, and ambiance. If you’re looking for excellent Korean food in Koreatown, this place is a must-visit. I would absolutely come back again.

The food has actually improved since they first opened. Portions are on the smaller side but we ordered 600g of bulgogi, kimchi fried rice, dumplings, and a dessert, which felt like a good amount for two ppl. I wish they offered a wider dessert selection. The bulgogi is very traditional Korean style comforting, not overly sweet or salty. It’s a nice spot to satisfy a bulgogi craving
