We came for the marinated crab, which was delicious. The dining experience was fantastic, thanks to the super friendly staff who were attentive to our needs.

Ordered take out. Marinated crabs were alright, marinated but not super flavorful.
Enjoyed the banchans, rice looked appetizing but had no flavor. Surprised it came with a piece of fish.

Food was amazing!!! My new go to bulgogi spot in NYC! The pajeon was excellent and crispy, and the bulgogi was perfectly seasoned. The egg at the end was also delicious. Ganjang Gejang was a pass though. However, I always think the measure of a good Korean restaurant is their kimchi, and I can safely say that their kimchi is fire.

Loved the soup bulgogi and all the side dishes! Tastes just like the bulgogi in Korea. Great service as well!

They said even if I buy something I am not able to use their restroom. Felt very racist.

Loved the dark green/ wood aesthetic; it made for a serene atmosphere.
I had the soy-marinated crab or 간장게장 because I didn’t know the grilled bulgogi was unavailable after 2pm? but I still really enjoyed the crab!! I like my food less salty than average and this was less salty than in Korea! But was still rich in flavor with a bit lf kick from the peppers :) all the bachan were so good as well that it felt a lil nostalgic.
Definitely want to go back for some bulgogi next time :)

Samwoojung in Ktown is an absolute gem! The food is authentic, flavorful, and always perfectly cooked. I especially loved the bulgogi and the wide variety of banchan (side dishes) that came with the meal. The portions are generous, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The service was top-notch; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere is cozy, making it a perfect spot for both small gatherings and a casual night out. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Our experience at Samwoojung was first class. From the service to the food, nothing was lacking.

Our server was so kind. He explained all the dishes as this was our first time. He also made sure we were fully stocked on side dishes and barley tea. The server cooks the dish for you, and it truly is a unique experience.

The bulgogi melts in your mouth and tastes as if it was marinated in heaven!! I’ve never been to Korea, but ive had Korean food all over the US and in Singapore, Japan etc. it was the best bulgogi I’ve ever had. The desserts are a great way to end a warm, hot meal since they are both cold options.
