We came in from California and were delighted by this restaurant in our hotel. The service was amazing and the food was delicious, top notch pasta!

The food was sensational. My girlfriend had the vodka pasta and I had the papardella with fungi and truffle oil. We recommend! The only disadvantage: the gelatos are too expensive. $12 for a scoop is excessive. The service and the ambience were appealing.

Very traditional Italian restaurant with a variety of dishes and sizable wine selection. We came as a big group and the service was very accommodating and friendly. The food wasn’t the greatest Italian food I’ve ever had, but it was delicious and the portions were enough that you won’t leave hungry. My favorite dish was probably the eggplant appetizer.

San Marino in Soho offers a charming Italian dining experience with a menu filled with classic dishes bursting with flavor. From the moment you step inside, the cozy ambiance sets the stage for a memorable meal. However, one aspect that left me wanting more was the portion sizes. While the flavors were satisfying, I had hoped for more generous servings, especially considering the prices. Speaking of which, the overall cost of the meal was on the higher side, making it a splurge for those on a budget. Despite these minor drawbacks, San Marino remains a delightful choice for indulging in authentic Italian cuisine in the heart of Soho.

Me and wife had a wonderful experience here. Definitely the definition of a hidden gem because as you walk in the place it's off to the side in the back lol. We got seated as we walked in even tho our reservation wasn't for another hour. We started off with the Fried Calamari, the baratta, & Polpo appetizers were on the money. Drinks in between which 1 was enough to hit the spot. For entrees she had the bolognese pasta & I had the Branzino. Let me just say we'll be coming back here! Thank you guys for a great experience

The resturant has a very nice, elegant vibe. The wait staff exceptional. However the food was fair at best. We did not enjoy our meal at all. We did not complain because everything else was so above par. I do not plan to dine here again

Had Christmas dinner with family of 12. Appetizers were wonderful. Our dinners were cooked to perfection and served in a timely fashion. Variety of wine and cocktails superb. Wait staff were polite and professional. Our thanks to the staff - waiters, chef and bartenders for making our family dinner positively memorable.

The appetizers were great, especially the eggplant. The mains lacked flavor. The branzino was good, but the accompanying broccoli tasted like it had been frozen and overcooked with no seasoning. Dessert was very good- we had the tartufo.

Excellent food and great atmosphere. Staff is all over everything, well kept and organized. Got the bolognese, fried calamari, and lobster ravioli special, highly recommend.

What delightful surprise. Had never been to or heard of this restaurant. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Fresh from scratch made pasta. The arugula and goat cheese salad is simply delicious. And the Carbonara and Cacio E Pepe are as good as I have had in NYC---and that includes Carbone. Our group also had the Etna chicken and the Veal. Everyone raved about it. I will definitely return. Wow!

Terrific food and service. Extremely accommodating. Got a little loud with a group of 5 ladies celebrating a birthday. When the food came out for them and the drinks stopped all was good. Would return and recommend.

The service at San Marino is wonderful, attentive servers, very old school. They serve olive bread, regular bread, and olives, (free), after you order. Delicious and warm. The burrata is served with a load of cherry tomatoes, and is yum. The seafood pasta (39) is loaded with seafood, chunk of salmon on top, tasted great. The gnocchi pesto is a huge portion (we could not finish it), a bit salty but that's pesto for you. The decor of the restaurant is older and a bit dark. We recommend San Marino!
