Came here with a larger group for my birthday and the hostess and/or manager was so rude it made me want to leave immediately. Our waitress was super kind, but that’s probably the only positive thing i have to say about this place. I also made a reservation a month in advance and they sat us in a cramped corner by the kitchen doors with uncomfortable benches. Once they moved us (bc I requested), they gave us stools with no backs very low to the ground. The place was empty but for some reason they refused to let us use the unoccupied seats with backs to bring to our table.
Don’t get the cheese board if you go, it was not good. Definitely old salami that they gave us.

Stopped in due to the views and had two espresso martinis. The bar was empty so easy to get a seat. Views were amazing. The drinks were okay but not the best and also not the best service considering how quiet it was

Sandbar rooftop bar was not the best experience. I stated at the hotel connected. Hotel was great. We tried to go to the bar three nights in a row, but it was booked out one fully for a private event and then the next day was a half private event. We went the third day and it took 10 minutes for us to get a waiter, and then approximately 20 minutes more for us to get our drinks. The place was not packed so I do not know why it took this long. I do have to say, the view is amazing.

Just visited Sandbar for their new winter Flurry Lounge and loved it. Cozy, warm vibes! Tried the cheese fondue and s’mores, both absolutely must-tries. Seasonal cocktails were amazing too. Been there multiple times and definitely going back this winter!

Sandbar Rooftop in Chelsea is one of the best rooftop bars in NYC if you’re looking for incredible skyline views. You can see the Empire State Building and all the surrounding Manhattan skyscrapers — it’s honestly one of the most photogenic rooftops in the city, especially at sunset.
The cocktails are excellent, creative, and perfectly balanced — ideal for a date night, happy hour, or weekend hangout. The atmosphere feels elegant yet laid-back, with great music and a cool crowd.
The only downside is the food menu, which is pretty limited. It’s mostly pinsa-style pizzas, hummus boards, and light bites — tasty, but not much variety if you’re looking for a full meal.
If you want great drinks, a stunning Empire State Building view, and a relaxed rooftop vibe, this is definitely the place to go. Just come hungry for the view, not for the food.

Lovely ambiance with friendly and attentive service — our waitress was fantastic. The food was just okay; limited options with mostly finger foods and pizzas that taste a bit like store-bought ones. Still, it’s a great spot to relax, enjoy a drink, and take in the view — come for the company and atmosphere, not the food.

Sandbar Rooftop is a great, low key rooftop in the Fashion District. It is currently still a hidden gem and never crowded, and on the rooftop of the Hilton Hotel. There are a lot of seating options- it's quite a large space, and the decor is very cute and picture worthy. They have a small cocktail selection and I do wish that they had more considering it is a rooftop bar, but I always like what I order. They also have a small food menu, but I have yet to try anything from it. Prices are super reasonable for a rooftop in the area, and I hope it stays that way. Great place for a summer afternoon!

We got a cheese plate, pretzel bites, and some delicious cocktails. The sgroppino drink was so yummy, it tasted like gelato! And the bees knees had a cute honey wand and tasted really great!

Cocktails and desserts were the highlights — both tasty and nicely presented. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, though it doesn’t really feel like a classic rooftop and the views aren’t the main draw. Still, it’s a pleasant place to sit back with friends and enjoy a good evening.

Drinks were ok. High top tables and chairs were awkward and almost ruined the experience. Upgraded furniture can increase to 5 stars.

We recently hosted a company event with Anna, Matthew, and their incredible team—and it was absolutely amazing! They thought of every little detail, handled everything seamlessly, and went above and beyond in every way possible.
From planning to execution, their level of professionalism and genuine care stood out at every step. The venue was beautifully prepared, the logistics were flawless, and every tiny detail was spot‑on.
We truly appreciate the team’s dedication and warm service. It was such a pleasure working with them, and we’re excited to collaborate again in the future. We will definitely be recommending them
