It was almost the perfect experience if it wasn’t too hot! Our server was great and super friendly. Food and drinks were amazing but it is way too hot up there. They should have something to cool the place off a little.
Sandbar Rooftop has been one of my go-to rooftop bars in recent years. It’s on top of a Hilton hotel, with a cool, beachy vibe with amazing views of the Empire State Building. It’s the perfect spot to come with a group of friends on a nice, warm evening out.
The weather’s been up and down recently, though, but even with undesirable weather, they have coverings, so it’s been ok.

The views are amazing!! Provides a unique opportunity to see downtown and midtown with minimally obstructed views, while feeling like you are “nestled” amongst the buildings.
A very different view than from one of the observation decks.
Had drinks. No food. Service was fine. Vibe is interesting for NYC - beach theme.
Would definitely go back for the views.
