We had a wonderful early Mother's Day dinner and enjoyed every minute. The food was delicious, the staff very nice and accommodating, and the ambience was lovely. We will be returning immediately!

The food was generally good. Both special fishes, halibut and snapper were delicious. The Caesar salad was pretty tasteless but the special salad was very tasty. Our service was mixed. After a robust start, we had to reach out several times to get our waiter's attention. The one real negative was that the spot where we were sitting was cold.

We had a really great dinner at Sandro's. The pennette was delicious and I can't wait to go back and have it again. The space was really cute and quaint. Service could have been a bit more attentive, but everyone was very warm and welcoming.
I was able to snag a last minute reservation after being so disappointed with of one of the new Italian restaurants in the neighborhood me and my wife walked out. Sandros is a breath of fresh air in a world where dining out has become all smoking mirrors and in my opinion stale. There's nothing over the top about the ambience, or the dish presentation, but it's an all around fantastic Italian restaurant. In my opinion one of the best in the city. I can't recall the last time I've seen puntarelle on a menu! Great classic food preparation mixed with good service, and an excellent wine list. I can't wait to come back.

I love coming back to Sandro but the food did take longer than usual last time. I assume they were just a little busier than usual. But, like always they were accommodating at attentive to the fact that we were sitting and waiting with no food at our table. They seem to always notice the other important details most of all being making the food delicious. One detail that had amazed me is in all my years I have never walked around into a public bathroom and not wanted to leave because it smelled unbelievably amazing! I don't know what diffuser they have in there but I want it for my living room!

Here's the deal- the food is excellent, good wine list and friendly staff. But it took over an hour from the time our appetizer or salad plates were cleared till we received our entrees! And two of the entrees were pasta dishes, not complicated. The waiter apologized but blamed the kitchen staff...you would have thought the manager/owner or waiter would have offered to buy the wine or reduce the bill but none of that was forthcoming. This the two star rating!
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Sandros. Pasta was excellent, service friendly and competent and we never felt rushed. Highly recommend if you are looking for a pleasant and relaxed dinner. Thank you, Sandros!
Tasty spot for Italian food, halibut and veal were top notch. The zero proof Negroni was not the vibe though. When we told our waiter he quickly gave us a different drink and didn't charge us for the one we didn't like and gave us a nice surprise of free lemon cookies at the end of our meal. Pricey but high quality food!
My girlfriend and I went for a late Valentine’s Day dinner and were so impressed. Sandro, the owner and sommelier, treated us with a great bottle of wine and actively had conversation with us. At the end of dinner, I was surprised to see on the bill that he had given us a discount on the original price. The food was intricate, tasty, and perfectly portioned. The staff were very accommodating too. We will certainly be going back!

Our favorite restaurant in the city. All dishes are Delicious from apps to mains to desert(home made cookies!). Excellent wine choices, bartender makes a mean Manhattan. Professional and friendly severs. Owners make you feel like family.
Service was really good. Cute spot for date. Food was mid at best. Suppli 4/5 Caesar salad 1/5 (don't get) super disappointed Gamberi all marinara 3.5/5 Veal bolognese 2.5/5 (had high hopes for this) Pennette Francescana 4.5/5 (star dish)

The entire experience was great. Came here with my wife for Valentine's day. The food was excellent and the pistachio gelato is the best I have every had. The service was excellent even though it was the end of the shift.

I had an amazing meal at Sandro's! The rigatoni alla norma was fantastic, so much depth of flavor. The pistachio gelato was the best I have ever tasted. The owner came over to help me decide on a wine and let me taste 2 different bottles. This is definitely going to become a go to spot for me. Highly recommend!
