Great service!!! and nice decor. Food was good but but not great to match the high price. The Caprese apertizer was good. The 20oz bone in rib eye was done well (to order) but lack seasoning, does not feel like 20oz and not worth the price tag of $108. Potatoes were falling apart and bland.

Just finished a previously scheduled semi private family brunch for 12 at Sant Ambroeus Brookfield.
Best possible service with outstanding food and a great setting.
Many thanks to GM George and the entire staff.

We had an amazing visit! Our server, Leah, was incredibly sweet, and when we mentioned it was our first time in New York, she went out of her way to make us a personalized list of places to check out. The food was absolutely delicious, and to top it all off, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert since it was our first time dining there. Such a thoughtful and memorable experience! Featured are some photos of our desserts! Forgot to include the biscotti :)

Brookfield Place is a beautiful, airy mall with a number of good restaurants and Sant Ambroeus is a favorite of ours. It boasts high ceilings and gently muted lighting that gives off an instantly relaxed but elevated vibe when you walk in. You can enter either from the mall (picture attached) or from the street. The mall entrance takes you past their wine fridge and a well-appointed bar that is stunning. Your eyes take you up to the ceiling and then to the banquettes and tables, everything perfectly laid out. The drinks from the bar were well-crafted and delicious. The staff is very friendly, corteous and efficient. We started with a luscious beet & avocado salad with feta. The linguini with clams was out of this world fresh and delicious, as was the Sant Ambroeus ravioli (spinach and ricotta w/sage, Parmigiano-Reggiano). I was surprised to see my favorite dessert, so hard to find, on the menu: principessa. It is a lemon sponge cake with vanilla pastry creme &whipped cream, topped with almond marzipan, and it is not to be missed! It was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Special shoutout to George Laflare the manager with whom we had a very pleasant chat toward the end of the meal and who ensures everyone has a wonderful experience there.

Had a party of 6 and sat outside, but we seemed to have irked the waiter for not ordering quick enough (despite the place not being busy) or ordering drinks. No table touches, never brought the gluten free bread for one guest and then we had to go find him to get the check. Two of us had the same pasta dish and it was incredibly gummy / sticks to your teeth. Really disappointing and can find better service and pasta at an Olive Garden.
Food runners were nice though!

I visited this place with my younger brother during our trip, hoping to end the day on a good note. We came yesterday and again today because we had a great first experience.
However, today’s experience was disappointing. The female server who was in charge of our table made us feel uncomfortable with her attitude, which felt noticeably different from how others were treated.
It was the first time I felt this upset after paying for both food and service.
I truly hope this was not intentional, but it did leave a bitter feeling at the end of our trip.

Good pastries and cookies. We have been there for lunch. Good food in large quantities and good pastries even though some are too sweet. I think they would taste better if they used 70% of the amount of sugar in their recipes. Generally good service even though many of the employees seem a bit clueless about restaurant work. Very expensive.
