I would not place this restaurant among the top dining options in the area, especially if you’re looking for a special night out or planning to spend hundreds of dollars, at the end of our meal we spent over 900$. So there is a level of expectation at this price point. The bartender was excellent and genuinely the highlight of the experience.
Unfortunately, the tone of the evening was set poorly from the moment we arrived. The hostess (Jazmin) was dismissive and unwelcoming, which is disappointing given how many incredible restaurants you can choose from in New York. First impressions matter, and it’s unfortunate how one interaction can impact the entire meal.
On the positive side, the pasta was the standout dish, beautifully prepared and the salads were also very good. However, the rest of the menu felt underwhelming for the price point; I don’t think the food itself was the problem here, it was the service from start to finish that made the experience disappointing.
I’m open to giving it another try in the future, but this particular visit was a rough night.
